Win a One Year Supply of PERFECT PORTIONS™ For You & Your Favorite Shelter

WAFFLES:  Hey Boss. Does PERFECT PORTIONS™ mean I get TWO portions? Because if it does, that sounds pretty perfect to me.

KATIE:  No, Waffles. I get one side and you get one side.

WAFFLES:  But I get the bigger side, right?

KATIE:  Waffles, they're identical. There's no bigger side. Thus the name, PERFECT PORTIONS™.

WAFFLES:  Ok, so I tried one side and then I tried the other side and they were both PERFECTLY delicious.

KATIE:  WAFFLES!!

WAFFLES:  What? You mean this isn't a self-serve container?

Just the Right Size Means a Fresh Meal Every Peel
We recently had a chance to taste test SHEBA® PERFECT PORTIONS™,  a yummy and cleverly packaged pate style food. Each package contains two separately sealed servings. Eat one and save the other for the next meal, share the other portion with a feline friend, or enjoy the whole thing.

Each individual packet is about 42 calories so a single serving can be incorporated into your cat’s daily diet, or on its own. The number of servings you feed your cat throughout the day depends on their weight and normal feeding habits. We both weigh about 10 pounds and our daily intake hovers around 185 calories. So when we add in a serving of Perfect Portions to our daily menu, we’ll have about 1/4 cup of our regular food for both breakfast and dinner and a single serving of Perfect Portions for lunch. You’ll want to consult your vet to determine how much and how often you need to eat.

Although we eat a daily diet of whole cooked and raw food, we enjoy trying out different foods as snacks and special treats. Katie's IBD prohibits her from many packaged foods, but Waffles is a gamer and LOVES trying new things.

In fact, right after this photo was taken, he launched into the whole piece and sprinted across the room with it in his mouth and a "this is too good to be true" look on his face.

Our Taste Test
We received the Turkey, Chicken and Salmon Entrées for our test run. Like many cats, we have some sensitivities to seafood, so we only tried the Turkey and Chicken flavors. They were both DELICIOUS. So much so, Waffles figured out where they were being stored and in the dark of night, broke into the kitchen cabinets. You already saw the evidence.

Since Glogirly works from home, she recently started adjusting our meal portions so that we're eating three times a day instead of just two. She likes that we're getting more frequent, smaller meals. ...something she could learn from! The serving size of PERFECT PORTIONS™ lends itself well to this kind of strategy.

What's inside and what's not?
Real beef, poultry or seafood as the first ingredient.
No corn, wheat, soy or artificial flavors.
Grain free.

Eight Entrées to Choose From
Chicken
• Turkey
• Salmon
• Beef
• Chicken & Liver
• Chicken & Tuna
• Seafood
• Whitefish & Tuna

WAFFLES:  Uh, can I get this to go?

  2. My human loves the perfect portions idea because sometimes Binga needs a little extra, and sometimes I need a snack when I'm at cat shows (we kitties burn more calories when we're at those things!). We don't eat fish flavors either!

  39. Waffles, please learn some manner! You are not starving, you don't need to break into the foods. You will get all fat and then the ladies may not love you any more.

Lots of flavors to choose from. Mum shared her tuna sammich with me tonight.

    ReplyDelete
  40. it really depends on which cat. some eat absolutely anything, one prefers seafood feast or chicken, one prefers beef. Tuna seems to be the main one that no one cares for, so we reserve that for whoever has acted the worst.....

    ReplyDelete
  41. All the flavors sound wonderful. Waffles I have your clone here at my house. He's orange and gets into all the food. His nickname is Dennis the menace. He has even tried to open a can of food, but I caught him before he got it open. Treat bags have no where to hide. Thanks for the giveaway. Have a wonderful day!!!

    ReplyDelete
  45. Tuna! When these came out, TW was giddy. I only eat half a can for breakfast and won’t eat the refrigerated half so these would be perfect. Plush I kinda ate the Sheba salmon and it doesn’t contain carrageenan although what the heck are “by-products" so it was a win, right? Nope. I wouldn’t even lick them. Still I’m like to win them for my shelter.

  59. Speaking only for my guys, fish flavor RULES. Speaking for the gals and fellas at my favorite shelter, food flavor wins all day, every day. They're just grateful to be in a safe place that feeds them and gives them loads of love, daily.

    ReplyDelete
  60. My cats' favorite flavor of food is salmon.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Chicken or turkey and wait a sec...should I not be feeding fish? Mine get Weruva daily and most often it's the fish versions

    1. Though some cats do fine, many have trouble with fish as a primary protein source. According to our vet, fish is the most common food allergen among cats. She has always recommended sticking to other protein sources (chicken, turkey, etc...) as a daily diet choice. Katie doesn't eat fish at all, but Waffles enjoys it as an occasional treat. ...ok, so Waffles enjoys just about anything as an occasional treat.

  62. Chicken or Turkey. I was told many kitties have fish allergies so I've always steered clear of even trying those.

  65. Chicken, turkey or beef. They are not fish fans.

  66. My cat, Mr. Potter, seems to prefer the stinkiest food possible. I like serving him canned chicken, as it doesn't have so much of a smell to it. He prefers anything fishy, or will leave the food out long enough for it to warm up so it gets smelly before he eats it.

    ReplyDelete
  67. This would be pawesome to wins seeing the meowmy is out of werk.... Oh yes and I am allergic to fish... No fish fur me... The others well they do fine...
