KATIE:  Way to hog the lounger, Waffles.

WAFFLES:  What? Did you want to sit here?

KATIE:  Oh, no... by all means go ahead. I love laying down here on the rug watching you enjoy the stylish comfort of MY lounger.

WAFFLES:  How do you know it's YOUR lounger? I don't see your name on it.

KATIE:  Does EVERYTHING that's mine need a NAME TAG?

WAFFLES:  Well, that would make things easier.

KATIE:  Yeah, well considering the Townhouse is mine, that would make everything inside mine too. Seems to me name tags would be a bit redundant.

WAFFLES:  Wait!  So if EVERYTHING inside the Townhouse is yours, does that mean I'M yours too???

KATIE:  Good point, Waffles. Things are getting a little cluttered in here. Maybe it's time for a garage sale.  

WAFFLES:  Phew! I'm sure glad I'm not the garage. For a minute there I thought the Boss was going to sell ME.

Chris, who has a Masters Degree from the Royal Academy of Art in London, has been an active member of the ceramics world for over 15 years. Her work has been exhibited all over the world. How Does it Work?
It's so easy and fun. Just choose from a variety of ceramic pieces including mugs, bowls and plates for humans, as well as purrfectly sized cat food dishes. Then upload your favorite photos & quotes.  Chris and Shelly take care of the rest.

We decided to have fun with our quotes, but these pieces also would make wonderful memorials, honoring kitties that are no longer with us. The area where you see the quote can be customized however you wish.

Our Challenger
Hazel McFluffyPants, a feline friend from Facebook, called upon us to take the #IceBucketChallenge. We were thrilled to comply. Though I think Waffles was hoping for more of an ice HOCKEY challenge. And before our ice even melted, we made a donation in Waffles' name to ALS. So far, the #IceBucketChallenge has raised over $88 million dollars and the number keeps climbing. We think that's pretty COOL. Ice-cold-COOL!


SO... Who's Next???
We want to invite any and all of our friends - feline, canine, human and otherwise -  to join us in taking the #IceBucketChallenge. But to make it REALLY INTERESTING, we're calling upon the cats and goats of a certain Montana ranch... Ok, Pricilla! Ok, Luke! Ok, Harry and Sherpa! Game ON!

What's ALS?

ALS was first found in 1869 by French neurologist Jean-Martin Charcot, but it wasn’t until 1939 that Lou Gehrig brought national and international attention to the disease. Ending the career of one of the most beloved baseball players of all time, the disease is still most closely associated with his name. Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord. Motor neurons reach from the brain to the spinal cord and from the spinal cord to the muscles throughout the body. The progressive degeneration of the motor neurons in ALS eventually leads to death.

International Strange Music Day...

...was created by Patrick Grant, a New York City musician. The premise is simple: to get people to play and listen to types of music they have never experienced before. The ‘strange’ part can mean either unfamiliar or bizarre. Patrick believes broadening people’s musical spectrums can also change the way we look at other aspects of life – his mantra is ‘listening without prejudice’. This growing movement has concerts, a record label and strong support from summer schools, where it is appreciated as a great way to stimulate young minds.
