How lucky we’ve been
to have enjoyed so much laughter.
You gave us smiles and snickers,
& happily ever afters.
As we say goodbye,
may your spirit be freed.
Make the angels giggle,
and godspeed.

We were SO sad this whole week to lose Robin Williams. He was such a good person, along with being an extremely funny one.
ReplyDeleteThis was lovely. Scott and I were hit pretty hard by Robin Williams' passing--depression is such an insidious and lying disease, it broke our hearts that it rent his spirit, utterly.
ReplyDeletexx Trish
He was absolutely brilliant. It's a shame he is no longer here to make us laugh.
ReplyDeleteAwww, that's beautiful. *wiping tears away*
ReplyDeleteMy human has been crying all week and she's not even sure why--it wasn't like he seemed all that important but this was just really a shock.
ReplyDeleteWe think Mork and Waffles are soul mates. Too bad Orson needed Mork at home-
*wiping eyes in a hotel room far from home* Since so few here follow the head peep on Twitter, we will share her reaction from Twitter Monday night, which is similar:
ReplyDeleteEarth calling Orson, come in Orson. Take care of Mork for us, OK? We're going to miss him.
Woof, hope things are better for you.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet post. We're all gonna miss him, he were so funny.
ReplyDeleteDepression has been here for ten years now.
ReplyDeleteThank you for honoring him. :)
What a lovely post to honor Robin Williams ! We're all going to miss him ! Purrs

Great way to give tribute to Robin Williams- Mork, Mrs. Doubtfire and all the other characters her played will live on in our hearts.
ReplyDeleteAwww... We are sure Robin would have loved this tribute. Such a sad loss... Purrs from the Zee and Zoey Gang!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a great way to pay tribute to a brilliant man.
ReplyDeleteSuch sadness from a man who gave us so much laughter. I agree with Deb- I think he would have loved this clever post.

ha ha - you did it again - made us laugh. You both are so cute and clever.
ReplyDeleteWhat an excellent selection for today. Our world will be less enriched and with less laughter with our loss of Mr. Williams. He was a creative genius, which often brings with it its own problems. At least we still have Waffles to set us into fits of giggles. XO, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
ReplyDeleteThe angels are definitely laughing. Our loss is Heaven's gain.
ReplyDeleteGreat tribute Waffles and Katie.
ReplyDeleteRobin Williams was a genius at making the mom bean laff. You two make us laff too!
Sasha, Sami, & Saku
I think this is the first time that the three of you made me cry instead of laughing..it's a tough world..hug each other every day and say I Love You..I'm sure Robin would have a good laugh seeing a little kitty Mork..MOL..
ReplyDeleteI grew up watching Robin Williams....I feel like I grew up with him. It hit me hard :(
ReplyDeleteღ husky hugz ღ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
Goodbye Mork from Ork.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure he has the angles all laughing. Had a great sense of humor that will be missed by all who loved him.
ReplyDeleteThat is a great tribute to a very funny man.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet tribute to one of our favorites. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteAlways love that show and Robin Williams was one of kind. Wonderful tribute.

Mork has returned to Ork and left us a legacy of laughs. I think I saw Pop’s face leaking over this loss.
ReplyDeleteIt's so sad about Robin Williams. I loved his shows when I was a kid, and I wish he were still with us. He was a great man, God Bless his family.
ReplyDeleteHail and Farewell, dear Mork.
xxMikko and Jax
Such a lovely tribute to a wonderful and talented man, who brought happiness to so many. Rest in peace, Mr. Williams. And Nanu nanu.
ReplyDeleteMy mom has been really sad about his passing too. Sounds like a great guy, what a tragedy he felt he needed to end it.
ReplyDeleteSuch a great guy!!
ReplyDeleteI'm a bit late on checking fave blogs (yours the best). This is such a beautiful post. I grew up watching Mork and Mindy. Such laughs. I loved Robin more in his dramatic roles (Good Will Hunting touching scene at saying goodbye to Matt Damon). He will be missed. I'm so sad for his family. God bless.
