TV Trip Tribute: Goodbye Mork

How lucky we’ve been
to have enjoyed so much laughter.
You gave us smiles and snickers,
& happily ever afters.

As we say goodbye,
may your spirit be freed.

Make the angels giggle,
and godspeed.

  1. We were SO sad this whole week to lose Robin Williams. He was such a good person, along with being an extremely funny one.

  2. This was lovely. Scott and I were hit pretty hard by Robin Williams' passing--depression is such an insidious and lying disease, it broke our hearts that it rent his spirit, utterly.

  3. He was absolutely brilliant. It's a shame he is no longer here to make us laugh.

  4. My human has been crying all week and she's not even sure why--it wasn't like he seemed all that important but this was just really a shock.

We think Mork and Waffles are soul mates. Too bad Orson needed Mork at home-

  5. *wiping eyes in a hotel room far from home* Since so few here follow the head peep on Twitter, we will share her reaction from Twitter Monday night, which is similar:

Earth calling Orson, come in Orson. Take care of Mork for us, OK? We're going to miss him.

  18. What an excellent selection for today. Our world will be less enriched and with less laughter with our loss of Mr. Williams. He was a creative genius, which often brings with it its own problems. At least we still have Waffles to set us into fits of giggles. 32. I'm a bit late on checking fave blogs (yours the best). This is such a beautiful post. I grew up watching Mork and Mindy. Such laughs. I loved Robin more in his dramatic roles (Good Will Hunting touching scene at saying goodbye to Matt Damon). He will be missed. I'm so sad for his family. God bless.
