KATIE:  Thanks, but I'm trying to cut back. 

WAFFLES:  You could just switch to decaf, Boss.

Today's close-ups are actually outtakes from our Peeping Felines giveaway photo shoot. Sometimes when Glogirly's taking our pictures with products, she sees Katie and Waffles doing something funny or looking particularly cute and she'll start snapping away. That's what happened here.

Waffles decided he'd rather be at the top of the tallest cat tree instead of down in the kitchen where Glogirly wanted him. And when she started waving treats around to lure him off his perch, well that's when Katie got all wide eyed and interested.

Waffles has two speeds. He's got twin turbos under that orange fur one minute and the next minute ... he's comatose. The one usually precedes the other and there's no in-between. These shots were taken on Easter SUNday following his daily exercise regime of stair climbing and wand toy chasing. There was likely a game of Let's Catch Katie's Tail too. Don't worry, she's quite a sprinter herself and has a swift left hook.
