Announcing TV Trip Saturdays with the PAWS Shelter Cats!
In case you missed our announcement last week, our Saturday spoofs just got a whole lot furrier! Each week an adoptable cat (or cats!) from PAWS Pet Animal Welfare Society will be making a cameo appearance in our TV Trip blog series. Through the magic of Photoshop, they'll join Katie and Waffles in their TV time-travel adventures.
We'll also introduce you to the cameo cats and share a little bit about them. Maybe, just maybe... some silly wigs and special effects will help our shelter friends find forever homes.
Special thanks to our partner in crime, Maggie Swanson, the photographer behind our cameo cats and a devoted volunteer at PAWS. Maggie is the author of the blog, Sundays at the Shelter, where she features adoptable cats from PAWS each and every week. Her beautiful photos have helped countless homeless cats find loving homes.
Brothers Marshall & Hubbell have been at PAWS for over a year now and we just can't imagine why no one has adopted these sweet boys yet.
They were living outside, always together, fed by a kind stranger. When the man worried that it was getting just too cold for them, he contacted PAWS. Marshall and Hubbell are about three years old now, and get along well with other cats. You can see that their ears were tipped at some point when they were neutered. These shy boys are happy to be inside, with a window for bird and dog watching, and regular meal service.
These handsome, young mancats are available for adoption at PAWS, Pet Animal Welfare Society in Norwalk, Connecticut.

MISTER Katie gets us every time!

ReplyDeleteI hope those handsome tuxies find their furever homes soon. I’m working with the incredible Maggie too to help get PAWS cats adopted.
ReplyDeleteNot sure if my comment went through but sorry if you got it twice! Enjoyed and laughed at your funny skit! I hope it works out for you bachelors!
ReplyDeleteHubble and Marshall are extremely tempting bachelors! It's a good thing for me they both live so far away or it would be a hard thing to resist bringing both of them home (which I don't think my current two would like very much). I hope their trip to The Dating Game - Cat Edition results in a furever home for them. Such gorgeous mancats!
ReplyDeleteThis post was too cute. Enjoy your weekend.

Allie: brothers. Can't live with them, can't go TV tripping with them. Quel surprise.
ReplyDeleteOne of the best ever TV trips! We think it is so wonderful that you are featuring PAWS kitties. We purr and pray that this helps them find homes. Please join us tomorrow for our Sunday Selfies Blog Hop. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
ReplyDeleteI don't think Bachelor #2- um- Waffles that is, will be chosen. You have to cool it with the ladies Waffles. Take it slow. Funny guy!
ReplyDeleteI love this idea of featuring an adoptable cat as a cameo in your TV trips!! That is fantastic!! More exposure, more chances to find a loving forever home! And kudos to Maggie Swanson! Uh oh, don't say her last name to Waffles. Swanson. The family name of good chickens found at a superstore near you. I'm sure Waffles will be contacting Maggie!
