The Chicken, the Egg, the Easter Bunny: Which Came First?


WAFFLES:  I'm ready, Boss!

KATIE:  Ready for what?

WAFFLES:  You know... the Great Easter Bunny!

KATIE:  He wouldn't be related to the Great Pumpkin or the Great Leper Can, would he?

WAFFLES:  NO.  SHE's the Great Santa Paws' cousin... duh! And the Great Tooth Fairy's sister. I think.

KATIE:  Got it. Glad we cleared that up. And why are you waiting for her?

WAFFLES:  She's the Great Easter Bunny, Boss! Don't you know anything? She brings all the good cats baskets of chicken.

KATIE:  Don't you mean eggs? I'm pretty sure the Easter Bunny deals in eggs.

WAFFLES:  Ok, but the eggs will turn into chickens, right?

 KATIE:  Well in theory, yes.
WAFFLES:  But Boss? If the eggs are going to turn into chickens, how did the eggs get to be eggs in the first place? There had to be a chicken, right? But how did that chicken get to be a chicken? I mean, which came first? The chickens or the eggs???

KATIE:  That's the question, Waffles.

 *Better not ask Waffles about which came first - the cat or the kittens? That just might make his bunny ears explode.*
