Dear Glogirly,
Waffles and I want you to know that we haven't forgotten what today is. Our hearts go out to those whose lives were shattered on this day 13 years ago. We can't take away the loss or rewrite history, but we can honor those who've suffered by remembering and making every moment we live truly matter.
Love,
Katie & Waffles

(((love)))
Dear Friends,
While Glogirly & Gloman are galavanting across the country, we'll continue to post daily updates on my mental state, physical concision and the goings-on here at the Townhouse. In particular, I'll be monitoring Waffles' behavior and issuing demerits for all infractions.
Sadly we won't be able to visit blogs much and our Facebook page just might start breeding dust bunnies. If you usually come here straight from Facebook, you might want to consider subscribing by email. Otherwise it's going to get mighty lonely around here.
love,
love,
Katie
You are two very thoughtful kitties

My heart goes out to everyone who loss a loved one in this devastating act of violence and hate. To all those who lost their lives, I will think of you. Today I will also remember all the firemen, policemen, volunteers and dogs who put their strength with heavy hearts trying to find any hope of life.
ReplyDeleteTo my American friends, you are in my thoughts and prayers. Xo

ReplyDeleteAs someone who experienced 9/11 firsthand (see StunningKeisha.com today), one of the things to do is to tell your do nothing representatives in Washington DC to reauthorize the Zadroga Bill for another 40 years and give the first responders the people who lived in the hood and the people who worked down there access to medical monitoring and care.
ReplyDelete'Tis a sad day indeed. Sending comforting purrs to all who need them.
ReplyDeleteWe will never forget. It was somber train ride into NYC this morning.
ReplyDeleteAllie: Katie, well-spoken. We will join you in living every moment the best we can.
ReplyDeleteMommy Jenny says it feels just like yesterday Katie & Waffles. Thank you for commemorating this solemn day in our all to recent history. We did a special tribute on our page too. I hope you'll come visit. Love & hugs!
