ReplyDeleteDo you ever see them sleeping together, snuggled? My two (BooBoo Bunnycakes & Angus) have not seemed to form the bond I was hoping to give Bunnycakes. She plays with him very very infrequently. He is very very energetic and mostly stalks, chases and tries to wrestle her. She HATES it. She has taken to hiding and creeping around low walk style with her ears down. I feel so bad and have taken to giving her the bedroom as "her" room. Angus isnt allowed in so she has a safe place. Which causes a whole host of other issues:he tries desperately to get in every chance the door creaks, he cries.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, was hoping to hear some positive news that middle-aged kitties can love and accept younger, energy-filled man-cats. The times I do see them play together are priceless :-)

We do sometimes eat together mostly in the mornings as we're hungry after sleeping all night! Hannah is very possessive with her chicken but Lucy is not bothered about it fortunately!
