I Count Four & A Prayer from Katie

Dear Glogirly,

Four. I count four days that you've been gone. FOUR!!!

That's 96 hours. Or 5,760 minutes. Or 345,600 seconds.

If you're gone much longer, I'm going to run out of TOES. And fyi... I refuse to count Waffles' toes. I know where they've been.

Please come home soon.

~Katie

Now I lay me down to nap.
I pray to Cod I will not snap.
Waffles here, cat sitter there,
It's oh so much for me to bear.

Freeze dried salmon, that's my price.
A tub or two would sure be nice.
Some privacy, a nice sunbeam.
Maybe it's all just a dream.

It's Been 4 Days Since Glogirly Left

Dear Friends,
While Glogirly & Gloman are galavanting across the country, we'll continue to post daily updates on my mental state, physical concision and the goings-on here at the Townhouse. In particular, I'll be monitoring Waffles' behavior and issuing demerits for all infractions.

Sadly we won't be able to visit blogs much and our Facebook page just might start breeding dust bunnies. If you usually come here straight from Facebook, you might want to consider subscribing by email. Otherwise it's going to get mighty lonely around here.

love,
Katie
