Is it really true??? You're coming home today???
The cat sitter was just getting good at protecting me and my breakfast from the food thief. Apparently Waffles decided that since there was a new sheriff in town, it was open-season on my food dish.
Don't worry, I haven't completely withered away to nothing. Yet.
But I wouldn't dilly-dally if I were you.

KATIE: No, but she's on her way.
WAFFLES: So the cat sitter is moving out?
KATIE: Suitcase and all.
WAFFLES: I bet she needs help. I should go help her pack!
KATIE: You should definitely help with her bags.
WAFFLES: Ok, Boss.
KATIE: Be sure to leave some orange fur in her suitcase. *whispers - like about 10 pounds of orange fur*

Your vacation postcards have been hilarious, it would certainly be a shame if a certain orange fur ball accidentally got stuffed in the pet sitter's suitcase. Katie we are sure you will supervise the packing carefully to make sure nothing gets stuffed in the suitcase that shouldn't and that everything that should be stuffed in there is.

ReplyDeleteKatie, I hate to be the bearer of horrible news, but even if the cat sitter were to take ten pounds of orange fur with her, when she opened her suitcase at home and discovered that ten pounds of fur, she'd return it immediately. The dratted orange cat would come back the very same day. xp Your Waffles-free peaceful bliss wouldn't last. The Glopeeps (credit to Maggie for that great term) would definitely want him back.
