Hi everyone, Katie here.
Now that the Olympic Games have come to a close, Glogirly and I are getting down to serious business. This week we're celebrating Glogirly's Favorite Games. Growing up, she LOVED games. Still does. So each day this week, I'M going to get a chance to play one of her faves.
Today's game is dedicated to her dad. Glogirly has many fond memories of watching *The Wheel* with her dad. They were fiercely competitive. Glogirly relished the few times she could kick her own dad's you-know-what.
She'll never forget the night she solved a really long puzzle before a single letter was guessed. Even her DAD was impressed. Here's that very puzzle. Can you solve it?
Want a little extra credit? Solve the first puzzle, *Famous Cats.*
UPDATE -
Whoa kitties! I can see I'm in a heap of trouble for choosing only a few famous cats. Well Glogirly's Photoshop prowess is only so good...she found a puzzle with the white boxes and had to pick cats whose names fit. ...I know, Sparkle was an obvious choice for #3, but that would have been WAY too easy!
To be or not to be that is the question
ReplyDeleteMaru Katie ...aahahhaha..... Kjelle Bus! Not good at this type of games. Need niptini now. har har har *evil laughs*
ReplyDeleteI just want to know why I'm not on the famous cats puzzle! (And I have the feeling that some "other" cats are wondering the same thing!!)
ReplyDeleteUmm, we are impressed that you solved it, too. Our mom likes Jeopardy. We like whacking toys on wands. Different strokes!
ReplyDeleteOooh, Katie. You are going to get into trouble with some Famous Cats.....
ReplyDeleteI can't spell! Help
ReplyDeleteLoveys Sasha
Maru, Katie, Faraday, and KjelleBus! As fur the puzzle, we haf no cloo! HaHaMeow! This is fun!
ReplyDeleteI agree with the smarty pants on comment 1! Very impressed
ReplyDeleteWell, we don't know Faraday but we worked out the other 3 cats. As for the puzzle Glogirly worked out, we dunno.
ReplyDeleteI sometimes have brilliant moments at Wheel, but not as often as I'd like.. Jeopardy is my game. (I'm unbeaten at Trivial Pursuit!)
ReplyDeleteBut Katie! There's supposed to be a beautiful model turning the letters.. How can you be a contestant AND a hostess?!
Prancer is pretty smart! That's what we woulda guessed!
ReplyDeleteAnd Chey is pretty smart too!
this is impressive Katie!
ReplyDeleteWe got the quotation we got the quotation, can you tell we are excited. It is...........(drum-roll) To be, or not to be, that is the question
ReplyDeleteFamous Cats
ReplyDeleteMaru, Katie, __________ and Kjelle Bus (we are stumped on the 3 one)
Really enjoyed this Wheel of fortune post!
ReplyDeleteYou feel into the same trap Spitty did last week. If Cathy Keisha didn't fit, you needed to MAKE IT FIT! BTW, TW says her Mom used to watch WoF every night and try to guess along.
ReplyDeleteLet's see, that last one must be Row Row Row Your Boat Gently Down the Stream. Am I right??
We're not guessing nothing about kitty kats
ReplyDeleteBenny & Lily
I think that the puzzle has already been solved! Not that we could have gotten it if not!
ReplyDeleteOhhhh I pride myself on being the "Wheel Of Fortune" Queen but you stumped me on this one...just saw Alesandra's answer...but....how is that a famous cat? I am missing something!!! But she did a GREAT JOB!
ReplyDeleteWe say the quote is "a sardine a day keeps the vet away", but it doesn't fit. Rats.
ReplyDeleteThe kitties are Maru, Katie, Faraday, and KjelleBus.
ReplyDeleteThe other is to be or not to be, that is the question. We're Shakespeare lovin' kitties!
Looks like we are late to the party!! We knew the kitties and the quote :). You will just have to take our word for it ;) xx
ReplyDeleteWe got Maru and Katie, got a little stumped, so cheated by scrolling down to Prancer's answer. MOL!
ReplyDeleteWe were clueless thankfully there were others much smarter than us!

Gosh I have no idea! I'm really bad at these kind of games! Very impressive indeed that Glogirly solved that long puzzle!
ReplyDeleteWe're late too but ooh we're looking forward to more fun and games ;-)
ReplyDeleteI should send this over to my gf she loves the wheel of fortune. Me on the other hand I'm terrible at it and that bottom puzzle looks impossible to me. I guess I'll just have to stick with blogging.
ReplyDeleteI got it! I think... To be or not to be. That is the question. Remember, that ol' peep of mine was an acting major at university and some of has rubbed off on me, I think. purrs
ReplyDeleteTo be or not to be what Katie? Huh? I'm confused?
ReplyDeleteTo be or not to be a Dog? Are you imagining how fun it would be if you could be a Dog? Tee Hee
Your Doggie pal Snoopy :)

Allie: Maxie's right. The thing is, he wouldn't have KNOWN he was... *delicate cough* ..."famous" if Prancer hadn't figured it out for him.
We guessed it! The only trouble is that we are 3 days late, but we did guess "To be or not to be, that is the question.
ReplyDeleteMOL! We're like our pals Eric and Flynn ... we guessed without peeking, but we're 3 days late! :)
