WAFFLES: Hey Boss? Do you have the flipper?
KATIE: Flipper???
WAFFLES: You know, the channel changer remote thing?
WAFFLES: I've never seen birds like these before. What kind of bird wears a tool belt and carries a driller thing?
KATIE: The kind of birds that mean we're about to be locked in the bedroom. Again.
WAFFLES: Uh oh. The Boss is going to go stir crazy. Again.
About Today's Photos
We interrupt today's regularly scheduled program to bring you a new episode of Construction Worker TV. Bird TV will return next week, or possibly next month, at it's regularly scheduled time.
The construction and repairs continue this week at the Townhouse. Even though there's a fresh stash of treats, a nice clean litter box and plenty of toys, we're pretty sure that's not going to impress Katie once the bedroom door shuts. Glogirly even moved her computer and files into the bedroom so no one feels alone. She'll be hard at work napping all day. Again.
That's something different. A little variety to your day.
ReplyDeletePoor Katie. I'll bet as soon as she doesn't have to be in the bedroom the only place she will want to be is the bedroom
ReplyDeleteHopefully, with Glogirly in with her the day will go easier for Katie.
ReplyDeleteI's heard talk we're sposed to get dat TV channel around here sometime. I'm not sure I'm lookin forward to it.
ReplyDeleteWhen I first moved here, there was some really loud work going on outside - something about a retaining wall - and my human and I were cooped up in a little office in an out-of-the-way part of the house. So I know the feeling!
ReplyDeleteKatie, it will be better this week with Glogirly in the room with you .... hopefully ...
ReplyDeleteKatie sweetie, you have my sympathhy especially since it is happening around here too. At least your human plans on working in the room you are locked in. I got shipped off to the vet for the day.
ReplyDeleteOh, poor Katie. It's so hard when there's a closed door to part of your territory! You don't actually want to go visit those stranger anyhow, Katie. They're making noise and mess.
ReplyDeleteoh no, that sounds boring. Be shur to haf hourly games of THoE
ReplyDeleteWe don't like that channel so much either ; it's often noisy and boring ! Purrs
ReplyDeleteWe hope the construction goes well and that it will be over soon.
ReplyDeleteOh no poor you!! We hate it when it gets all noisy and Mum locks the cat flap so we can't go outside and hide.
ReplyDeleteLuv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
Oh man, what a pain! We hate that. Of course we only got locked in on certain days. The Woman knew we'd leave them alone most other days because they were noisy!
ReplyDeleteWe hate the worker guys when they're here. We usually try to help them but get locked away instead. We hope your worker guys don't stay too long.
ReplyDeleteHope this work is going to be over soon! Those are gorgeous close ups of Katie and Waffles.

My cat is so scared whenever we have worker guys at our house. He hides and only appears when he is sure they have gone away.

Waffles expression is priceless! What a good Mama you are!
ReplyDeleteUh oh we think we overheard M & D say we might be getting some unpleasant work done around here that will be very noisy too.
ReplyDeleteWe hate those kind of birds

ReplyDeleteYou have an extremely hard life, Katie. Hopefully it'll be easier for you this time with Glogirly around.

Do the construction workers know they're being snoopervised?
ReplyDeleteOh Katie, when will this ever end? I bet the cabin fever is getting worse. Do you at least have a/c in there?
ReplyDeleteIt's very busy at the Townhouse! Good luck on the construction. I hope everything comes out as you wish it to be. And good luck Katie with the door closed on you. At least Waffles is in there with you if that's any consolation. :)
ReplyDeleteI can relate since we had all that destruction here. Derby I spent every day for a week locked up in mum's sleepy room. She went day hunting, so we were all on our own.
