The Leap
Waffles leaps for his wand toy, but Katie leaps for the tallest kitchen counter.
The Spring
This one's about jumping into action. In our house we call this one the stair chase. Waffles chases Katie up the stairs and Katie chases Waffles down the stairs.
The Stalk
Waffles will stalk just about anything. A crumpled up piece of paper, a milk ring or his favorite feather. Katie on the other hand... she stalks Waffles.
The Wildcard

ReplyDeleteWhat fun! I'd love to get some slo-mo of Karma-Kat doing his "sledding" routine, he loves being towed around on a towel dragged along the floor. Runs and leaps to grab hold, such fun! That and his "mighty leaps" for the elusive feather.

Lola has this somersault she does before playing with any cat toys. it is really fun to watch, she is quite a feline acrobat and we would love to capture that.

ReplyDeleteAwesome video! Another great use for the GoPro Hero is strapping it to your head. It gives you a Google Glass-style recording of your furball in action, while you play. But sliding the camera along like that was cool too. I'm curious how you had it mounted.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Little Chomper! For those action shots, we put the camera inside a shoebox with a little hole cut out for the lens to peek through. We attached a feather to it to dangle behind and then pulled it flat along the floor with 2 shoelaces we attached to the box. Nothing fancy... and it did come apart a couple of times when we let Waffles get too close, but it worked!
