Do You Hear What I Hear?


Hi everyone, Katie here.

Glogirly's been cleaning like mad. Doing laundry. Spending an inordinate amount of time making beds. But I know better. This is not the *good* kind of bed making. The writing's on the wall, kitties.

Houseguests, INCOMING.


WAFFLES TOO:  Um, Boss?  What's a Houseghost? 

KATIE:  Houseguest, Waffles. Houseguest.

WAFFLES TOO:  Um, Boss? How come you don't like Houseghosts?

KATIE:  Sheesh, Waffles. What kind of cat are you? Houseguest is just a kinder, gentler word for unwanted intruder. They bring smelly luggage with them. They sleep over. They don't know ANY of the rules. Like, don't talk to, touch or even look at Katie.

WAFFLES TOO:  But um, Boss? This sounds kinda fun. I like talking, touching and looking. I bet these Houseghosts have toes too. I like toes.

KATIE:  Go ahead, Waffles. Have at their toes.  *under breath...we'll see how THAT goes over*


WAFFLES TOO:  Mmmmm. Toes.

    No! Not houseguests! We spend most of our time UTB when they come over. Wally usually is the brave one and comes out...eventually.

    Mes kind of LIKES house guests. Me purrtends to bes all cute and cuddly and me jumps in their lap and when they trys to pets me or move me, me attackS!!!!!! Me always keeps my claws super sharp, so they bleeds before they knows m has lacerated them!

    Oh, Waffles Too, house guests are fun, no matter what Katie would say. Ateret dislikes them, too. I L-O-V-E them 'cause they're always Grandma.     Allie: oh NO! You too? Well at least ours didn't bring smelly luggage. But there were thousands of them. Hordes descended last night. Truly terrifying.

    Maxwell: There were nine, Allie, not thousands.

    Allie: Don't listen to him. It was utter mayhem. A stampede, even. *shudder*

    FaRADaY: And they ALL came to see ME.

    Maxwell: dood. It was for Passover. And you interrupted them. Several times. SEVERAL.

    (we're so sorry we've been a bit lax in our visits. Our mom is ready to pass out from exhaustion after 3 whole days of cooking...Oy!)
