Hi everyone, Katie here.
I'm sorry to tell you that "Katie Is...ACCUSED" will not be winning any of the cool prizes or awards in The Friskies competition. No golden kitty, no fame and fortune, just a few cans of Fancy Feast. Now hold on...don't go all crazypants. We have something much more important. We have YOU.
We want to thank all of our wonderful friends for voting & sharing & laughing with us. We do this stuff for fun and we do it for all of you to enjoy. And for that we feel like winners.
Out of respect for the other entrants, we ask that you please keep this news to yourselves and not share it on Facebook or Twitter until after the awards show later today. It was really important to Glogirly and I though, that you hear it from us first.

Even though we had lots and lots of votes & love, the judges went another way.
I think they were probably lost and didn't bother to stop and ask for directions.

But the good news is I'm out of the slammer now.
Exonerated of all charges. I just might keep these handcuffs.
Allie says if I add a little bling, they'll make very stylish fashion accessories.

My human was really hoping to see your human in L.A. at the awards show and maybe even hijack her and bring her to our home to meet ME! I think the Friskies Awards is going to be a little less shiny and fun because you aren't part of it. :-(

I thought for sure that you won your category....as for the rest of it...to me I am thinking that they might have gone with something that showed cats behaving as cats since they are a cat food brand and they might have been trying to stir emotions in cat owners (you know "mushy" stuff).
Who knows what their criteria was...glad I wasn't one that had to judge!
Regardless....I'm sorry because I feel you should have, at the very least won your category.
I'm with Ingrid though...you and Gloman are quite talented and you know what they say..."when one door closes....."
