Once a Food Thief, Always a Food Thief #WafflesWednesday

To the tune, "Put One Foot in Front of the Other" from the Santa Claus is Coming to Town TV Christmas Special
WAFFLES:  Put one paw in front of the other... do-do  do-do  do.  ♫♩

WAFFLES: And soon I'll be eating Katie's foo-ooo-oood!  ♫♩

WAFFLES:  – I said... ♫♩and soon I'll be eating Katie's foo-ooo-oood!  ♫♩

WAFFLES:  Hey, wait a minute. This isn't Katie's dish.

WAFFLES:  Put one paw in front of the other... do-do  do-do  do.  ♫♩

KATIE:  Serenity now.

About Today's Photos
You know that friend who's always eyeing what's on your plate?

Toys, beds, scratchers and most of all, food – as far as Waffles is concerned, if it's Katie's it must be better. The last photo with Katie's thought bubble explains it all. It's from way back when Waffles was just a few months old. We like to call it, "A Food Thief is Born."

  1. Waffles and Boodie have a lot in common! To the extent that my human has to lock her up while Binga finishes her dinner.

  2. Bear was relentless. Kitty had specially formulated diet food (no way was this as good as Bear's) ... Bear had premium kitten food ... and Bear HAD to drink out of Kitty's water bowl too. The SAME WATER. After he followed her in the litter box, I gave them separate facilities ... but no. He'd always come find her litter box. :p

  3. There doesn't seem to be anything like that around here, maybe because there are so many cats.

  5. Mom says she has one question. Is Waffles somehow teaching Steinbeck to be a food thief? Is he doing it over the air waves? Is it the ginger in both of them that makes them food thieves? Inquiring minds want to know.

  6. our fosters are the same way....doesn't matter if it is the same food - if it is in a different dish, it must be better MOL

  7. Lucky Ichiro isn't in that house. He doesn't walk--he runs. It's surprising how fast that fat cat can move when food is involved...

  10. Gingers are nothing but trouble; it's a well-known, well-established fact. You're going to need all the peace and serenity you can get, Katie! Barbed wire around your food bowl might help as well. *G*
