The Kitchen is Closed?

WAFFLES:  Hey Boss! What are you having?

KATIE:  I'm having a hard time waiting for breakfast is what I'm having.

WAFFLES:  Where is everybody? The kitchen's supposed to be open, right? I mean it's daylight and all.

KATIE:  Well considering you and your self-service approach to mealtime, it probably doesn't much matter whether the kitchen is open or not.



WAFFLES:  Yeah, but Glogirly started keeping all the good food an treats in the refrigerator. She says it's the only place in the Townhouse that's safe. I think she's even got toys in there. If it's so safe, how come I can't go in there?  



KATIE:  Do you SEE what I have to put up with? Every morning of every day of every week of ...



About Today's Photos
Though Katie and Waffles can usually be found circling the kitchen on the floor and engaging in a very physical round of patty cake when the sun rises over the kitchen, occasionally one of them will hop up onto the counter stool to check out how the meal preparations are coming. It's rare that both of them sidle up to the bar together, but when they do Glogirly runs for her camera.

Oh the conversations they must have....

"What are you having?" 
"I don't know. What are you having?

Cats and people are more alike than anyone realizes.

    When we're in the kitchen waiting to be fed, the mom says we're saying "hurry up...hurry up" because she can never get the food in the dish fast enough.

    Knowing Waffles...Glogirly may want to put a padlock on the fridge. ;)

    when mom was in high school, her family had a fuzzy orange mancat that loved to sit on the stools by the kitchen island. never tried to take anything, but loved to pop his head over the counter to check things out

    You both are so cute there. I sit of our stools by the ounter during meal prep time also. The humans. Eyed our help sometimes so we need to be ready.

    Wow Waffles. The refrigerator is the only safe place?? Sounds like you have been elevated to Princeton status.
