KATIE: Jeez, Waffles. A little self control would be nice.
WAFFLES: Control? You mean like for the TV?
About Today's Photos
When it's time for dinner, Waffles is anything but patient. If he's not bopping Katie on the head or instigating a game of patty-cake, he's calling in his dinner order. Loudly. Meanwhile Katie just stands back to watch the show. Never a dull moment when the food dishes are clinking and dinner's being served.
Today's blog post is part of the Sunday Selfies Blog Hop hosted by our dear friends at The Cat On My Head.
When you find "the control" let us know. Our Mommy says us kittehz lack it.
ReplyDeleteHappy Sunday, sweet furriends.
XOXO
Faraday: Seriouslies. I fail to see the problem here. Ya don't ask, ya don't GET. #amiright?
ReplyDeleteMy Cornelius is the same, he is so loud and persistent. The one good thing that has come from it is I never need an alarm clock as he will always wake me before 7:00 to eat. :-)
ReplyDeleteBinga's the loud one here - I have a sweet, melodious voice. Most of the time.
ReplyDeleteI have 5 (yes...five) cats and I'm still amazed that all they do is meow. They generally all leave each other alone but you get little tiffs here and there. I'm surprised that when it's food time no one cares that their usual enemy is inches from them.
ReplyDeleteGuess we did something right lol
I must lock myself in the powder room just off the hallway to the kitchen to prepare meals. Failure to do so will result in the cat known as The Jerk (Nicklaus) to become his evil twin and take it out on me as I dish out food. No he's barred smack down. His brother Dusty is also fair game to annoy me or distract me. Jerk.
ReplyDeleteThe squeaky wheel gets oiled ..... Happy Sunday!
ReplyDeleteTypical male cat...all about the food just like my cat bro Bert. Kitty sis Sophie is much more quiet and polite about it.
ReplyDeleteMy oldest female was like that. She had a yell that could rattle the windows!
DeleteYou wouldn't have to yell if you weren't kept waiting Waffles.
ReplyDeleteWaffles knows how to get his chick-hen dinner!!!
ReplyDeleteThe Florida Furkids
We hear you loud and clear, Waffles ! Purrs
ReplyDeleteWaffles, we're not very patient when it comes to food either. So you keep bopping away.
ReplyDeleteI have two that are not very patient at our house. One who is very loud. LOL. Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteSue B
LOL so funny.
ReplyDeleteWhen it's dinner time around the old ponderosa Mr Jinx will head butt me so hard it will take my breath away.
ReplyDeleteI think I'd prefer loud meows! MOL
Waffles is so focused! Great pictures.

The look on Katie's face is priceless!
ReplyDeleteI start asking for dinner at lunchtime. So since I am rather thin, I get extra!
ReplyDeleteHe that shouts the loudest usually gets something! ;)
ReplyDeleteHAH! Waffles sings for his supper.
ReplyDeleteYou must be very hungry, Waffles, I could hear you all over the Internet :D Pawkisses :) <3
ReplyDeleteIf humans were quicker to get our dinner we wouldn't have to remind them!
ReplyDeleteOur Silas was much like Waffles....and he was an ornj kitty too. When it was meal time efurryone knew!
ReplyDeleteSasha, Sami, & Saku
Our humon's sis calls it Hanger. The last stage of hunger and anger. MOL. Purrs, Greyson, Mr. Chivers, Tabby & Chloe
ReplyDeleteMudpie has trouble finding her inside voice too ;)
ReplyDeleteZoe is the talker here. It cracks the humans up, except for when she decides to do so in the middle of the night. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat? Did you say something
ReplyDeleteLily & Edward
My mancat, Sam, rarely has anything to say for himself--except at mealtime, and then he's all voice, all the time. My mini-black leopard, Maya, isn't shy about letting us hoomans know what's on her mind and is The Mouth--except at mealtime, when she's quiet as the proverbial mouse. Go figure! *shrugs* Maybe she figures Sam is yelling enough for the both of them. ;D No speed at which I dish the food up is fast enough for Sam, of course, and the fact I have to mush his gooshyfood up with water because he had a number of teeth pulled a few years ago and he needs his food soupy definitely lengthens prep time. The way Sam carries on, you'd think he hadn't been fed since the fall of Rome. Melodramatic cat!
ReplyDeleteNow multiply that behavior. We have yelling, wrestling, dancing at Mom's feet and trying to eat the food right from the can. The serious of photos is purrfect. Thanks for sharing these on the Sunday Selfies Blog Hop. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
