#SundaySelfies - Rhetorical Waffles

KATIE:  Waffles, shhhh! I'm trying to take my #SundaySelfies picture.

WAFFLES:  Do you need help, Boss?

KATIE:  Does it look like I need help?

WAFFLES:  I don't know. Maybe I should look.


KATIE:  Look for what?

WAFFLES:   Look to see if you need help.

KATIE:  I don't need any help, Waffles.

WAFFLES:  But you ASKED. You asked if it looks like you need help. So I should probably look, you know, to see if you need help.

KATIE:  Waffles, I DON'T need your help. That was a rhetorical question.

WAFFLES:  Huh?

KATIE:  Something you say to make a point. It's a question that doesn't have an answer.

WAFFLES:  But how can a question not have an answer? Wouldn't that make it, uh.. not a question?

KATIE:  That's not how it works.

WAFFLES:  So when you asked me if it looked like you needed help, you weren't really asking me if it looked like you needed help?

KATIE:  Pretty much.

WAFFLES:  But what if you really NEEDED help?

KATIE:  I wouldn't be asking you.


WAFFLES:  Boss, I think you need help.
