WOLFF DEN PRESS CUSTOM PET PORTRAITS
A few months ago, the talented Michelle Wolff, of
Wolff Den Press, created a beautiful portrait of me (Katie.) Recently, she sent us Waffles. Glogirly is in love...though I'm sure she loves MY portrait more. I particularly love how it doesn't meow back at me or try to steal my food.
WHAT WE LOVE
We're big fans of independent artisans. Especially those that are passionate about their love of animals. Michelle Wolff is an absolute sweetheart to work with. When she starts a
custom pet portrait, she sends us progress photos. It's fascinating to see the portrait develop and the special details emerge.
Michelle created our portraits with charcoal and pencil on archival quality Britsol board. We framed them ourselves in classic black on black. These are now special heirlooms that will be part of our lives and our family forever.
Michelle also works in colored pastel. She has a gorgeous collection of notecards that are pretty enough to frame.

custom portrait of one pet in black and white on archival quality 14x17 Bristol board in charcoal, pencil and pastel. It's a cushy, comfy nest of a bed with the top off and a great napping and hiding spot with the top on. Best of all, if you HAVE to go to the vet, there's no better way to travel. The top zips completely off so there's no "stuffing the kitty" inside the carrier. It's great for us cats that aren't big on vet visits. It doesn't take long and if they pass the test, he'll curl up on their lap and this means they're gold. Waffles is an excellent watch cat. He wants to take over the world around him. Still, he has respect for Katie, the boss of him. He's a planner. He plans how to pounce, how to chase, how to sneak around a corners, how to sneak up on Katie. He thinks in pictures, vibrations and is actually very psychic. (Katie thinks the word should actually be 'psycho.'
