Seven to Ten Days -- Plus Giveaway Winners!

Hi everyone, Katie here.

Seven to ten days. That's how long Glogirly's vet said it would take to get rid of her cold virus. That's WAY too long if you ask me. This whole *I don't feel good* excuse is really throwing a wrench into my schedule.

It's not complicated -
4:00am snack
8:00am breakfast
5:00pm dinner

But since Gloman is out of town, Waffles and I aren't getting our 4:00am snack. And as far as breakfast is concerned, we're forced to wait until Glogirly's cold medicine wears off before she wakes up from her stuffy-nose-stupor. We don't know if we'll get breakfast at 8:00, 9:00 or even (gasp!) 10:00am.

I don't know what's worse. The hunger or not knowing when my next meal will be.

This morning, do you know that she barely mixed my food up in my dish??? There were unsightly lumps of chicken pate. The presentation was sloppy and disappointing.

Dinner, at least I GOT it, was much the same.

I'm actually considering reaching out to the cat sitter. I think we need a Glogirly sitter.

I fear tomorrow I may be staring at an unopened can. With no thumbs and no hope.

Waffles Too and I want to wish you a Happy Valentines Day!

Gloman & Glogirly don't really make a big deal out of February 14...they say that everyday is a special day and it's way more fun to show your love 365 days a year, instead of saving it all up for just one day.
 

And if this 365 day rule applies to treats, I'm all for THAT.

But in the blogosphere, Valentines Day means the Valentines Ball!  This year Mollie and Ranger are hosting the big event.

My date is the dashing Swedish mancat, Kjelle Bus a.k.a. Charlie Rascal. We're just going as *friends* though.  Charlie wants to make a grand entrance with nice arm candy catnip. My *boyfriend* Spaghetti Bob the Registered Therapy Kitten is chaperoning so we're all on our best behavior.

And in case you're wondering, YES I know how to drive a stick. Mancats think a girl with wheels is HOT.

Waffles Too is still WAY too young for Valentines Balls. He's got plenty of other balls. No, not THOSE balls.

Hi everyone, Katie here.

A famous and glamourous cat like me can never be too be careful. Who knows what might be lurking just outside the windows. Could be a vicious squirrel. Could be a vicious neighbor. Could be a vicious UPS man.

My friend Kjelle Bus, a.k.a. Charlie Rascal, is looking out for me though. He's the handsome mancat from Sweden with the clear blue eyes. I'm sure if he lived closer (or could swim across the pond) he'd leap at the chance to be my personal bodyguard.

Well, he did the next best thing.  We recently won a giveaway on his BLOG and would you believe what he sent me??? A Waffles Too-sized security guard uniform. So now the orange brat is FINALLY making himself useful.

That's right, Waffles. You just stay over there and guard the window while I enjoy my lunch.

*crunch, crunch, crunch*   Yeah, Waffles...that's it.   *crunch, crunch*   Just keep looking out that window. 

*crunch, crunch*   Nothin' to see here at my food dish.   *crunch, crunch*

We also got some REALLY cool toys from Charlie Rascal. I didn't want to distract Waffles Too from his security training though, so we'll tell you all about them next week!

Settle down, you're in the right place.  www.GLOGIRLY.com, that's right.

This is kitty-crazy-wild.  There is SO much fan frenzy surrounding the Real Housecats on set, we've had to step outside the litter box, litterally.  Not just any security detail will do.

No offense intended, Cathy Keisha and Kjelle Bus...but the Housecats just can't take any chances.  One rogue fan, packing heat a pair of silvervine mice and it's all over.  NO cat can resist the power of the illicit 'vine.'

So I'm bringing out the big guns.  

Meet our Official Bodyguard, Snoops Dog.  

I know, I know.  He's a DOG.  But just think about it.  He comes when I call.  He does what I say.  He can't doesn't over-think things.  He's cheap, all I have to do is throw him a bone.  He's ginormous.  Oh, and he actually thinks that cats LIKE him.

The Real Housecats are taking a little time out from production to celebrate a very special birthday.  Kjelle Bus, a.k.a. Charlie Rascal, Season 1's Real Housecat from Sweden has just turned 2.  Often seen hiding behind his motorcycle shades, Kjelle Bus celebrated his big day at a cat show over the weekend.

Word on the street is that he had to endure a shampoo and blow-dry in anticipation of the event.  Now if THAT doesn't earn him some extra beef tenderloin, I don't know what would.

In honor of KB, the other Housecats had their way with some salmon cupcakes.

Kjelle Bus is a Sacred Birman and lives in Halmstad, Sweden.  He's got a great BLOG and FACEBOOK page that his mom assists with. Even though it's not their native language, both Kjelle Bus and his mom do a great job of writing in English...in fact every Tuesday they blog entirely in English.  

Kjelle Bus has no trouble understanding my *unique* sense of humor.  Must be our telepathic cat language that knows no geographical boundaries.

Kjelle Bus claims to be shy.  But we all know it's a front.  He's just playing hard to get with the girlcats.  And those goggles?  Well I'm pretty sure it's a Bono thing.  Swoon away, ladies.  Swoon away.
