WAFFLES: Hey Boss, how much is 12 inches?
KATIE: A foot.
WAFFLES: A FOOT??? That's doesn't look like feet, Boss. It looks like snow. Are you sure?
KATIE: 12 inches is a foot, Waffles. Not feet, not legs not paws.
WAFFLES: Well that's a really dumb way to count snow.
KATIE: Waffles, you just don't understand the concept of weather OR math, do you?
WAFFLES: I get that we had a BIG snowstorm yesterday. And today is a snow day on account of all the schools are closed and stuff.
KATIE: You don't go to school Waffles.
WAFFLES: Yeah, but I can still have a snow day.
KATIE: Ok, so what are you going to do on your snow day?
WAFFLES: Um....
KATIE: Are those Glogirly's sunglasses???
We're Buried in White Stuff!
Yesterday Minnesota got socked with one of our biggest storms of the season yet. ...we can't really complain though given our friends to the east are still digging out from under their record high snowbanks. But we're taking a snow day anyway! That means lots of wand toy action, a catnap or four and plenty of snow removal supervision from inside the comfort of our climate controlled Townhouse.
Ya know what goes great wif snow Waffles?? CHIKKEN!
ReplyDeleteWe have more snow too with more coming!
ReplyDeleteI want to have a snow day! But it's kind of hard when you live somewhere that never gets snow.
ReplyDeleteWe always hope we won't have a snow day!!
ReplyDeleteLuv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
Have fun! We love snow days but mommy does our snow removal..... She doesn't mind unless she gets too cold!
ReplyDeleteDon't you just love a snow day when our peeps are home? We get more playtime for. Sure. You got more snow than we got as we only got about 5 inches in our city. Those funny men on tv said we would get a foot of snow, but they were wrong. M. Says thank you for taking. So much of the. Snow meant for us. Very ice of you.
ReplyDeleteThat's a lot of snow....we're not exactly sure WHAT snow is though.

Love the photo at the top of this post! Enjoy your snow day!
ReplyDeletemom says the winter so far could have been much worse....but she sure would appreciate a snow day here :) have a good time
ReplyDeleteWe're so jealous...would you believe it's going to be over 50 degrees and pouring rain today??? In Vermont??? In February??? Just wrong.
ReplyDeleteThe storm sort of missed us and we got only rain--but I'm not complaining!
ReplyDeleteThe first pic would make a wonderful winter holiday card.
ReplyDeleteGood job on the snowman.
ReplyDeleteWe're being deluged with buckets of rain with the worst to come. Good thing it isn't snow.
ReplyDeleteWoohoo! Snow day! Believe it or not, all of our giant snow piles have already melted. What a strange and warm winter this has been...
ReplyDeleteYeah...we already got our big snowstorm here in Pennsylvania...Enjoy your snow day Waffles and Katie!
ReplyDeleteIt's supervising the snow removal that's exhausting, huh, Waffles. Julio is so bagged out from supervising our snoveler that he's taking a serious nap. Fortunately, our snoveler is a nice, strong young guy. Mom doesn't do the work; she just pays him. Not sure why she doesn't pay us to supervise him! Where's our munchies??

ReplyDeleteOH I can SO see Katie supervising from the inside and Waffles being 'in the action' until his paws get COLD!!
ReplyDeleteLittle surprised that nose wasn't more chewed on ;)
ReplyDeleteCool picture

Oh brrrrr We're having a mild winter, knock on wood... So you can keep the snow please! Just don't step out in it, ok? Cause it's no fun for paws!
ReplyDeleteWe are loving the look of that Asian Arch out there though we suspect it's just a fence. Stay warm! Xoxo
ReplyDeleteWhoa! That's a lotta white stuff. We were lucky here...we only got rain. Can we have a rain day??? ;)
ReplyDeleteWe got rain with a few snow flakes with it. You got all the white stuff.
ReplyDeleteHAH! That snowman/woman is great! You call 12 inches a snow day? Child's play. The only snow we have left is the 18 foot high piles in ShopRite's parking lot.
ReplyDeleteI am soooooooooooooooooooo jealous!!! We have barely had ANY snow AT ALL this winter and so far there is no sign of ANY coming! Love the photos!
