TV Trip: McWaffles' Navy

WAFFLES:  ♩♫♩ In the Navy... yes, we can sail the seventies  ♩♫♩  In the Navy ... yes, we can fill our plates with cheese ♩♫♩

 KATIE:  Waffles, we're not the Village People.

WAFFLES:  Duh Boss. I know THAT. We're...  ♩♫♩ In the Navy ♩♫♩ !!!

KATIE:  Waffles, we're celebrating the July 4th weekend by honoring our country's servicemen, women and animals with a homage to the classic TV show, McHale's Navy.

WAFFLES:  You mean McWAFFLES' Navy!

KATIE:  *sigh*

 WAFFLES:  ♩♫♩We want you! We want you! We want you as a new recruit! ♩♫♩
KATIE:  Let's just hope Waffles' doesn't decide he wants to stay at the YMCA.

    Oh, Waffles, you're a silly, silly boy. I'm sure they'd love you at the YMCA--but I'm sure Glogirly would be upset if you stayed gone too long, so I wouldn't make it a long visit if you do go there.

    Waffles is so much cuter than Phil Silvers! What a fun way to honor our servicemen, women and anipals. We are not sure who Katie would be, but Waffles would make a great Doogie Houser, M.D. Mom thought of another good idea for your Vintage TV Caturday Art last night, but has forgotten today...of course!
