WAFFLES:  Hey Boss, how come YOU get to be Starky?

KATIE:  It's STARSKY, Waffles. Starsky.

WAFFLES:  So why can't I be Starky?

KATIE:  *sigh* Because, Waffles... you can't drive.

WAFFLES:  Well can we at least call the show Waffles & Starky???

KATIE:  NO. That wouldn't make any sense at all.

WAFFLES:  But wasn't Starky the one that got all the hot babes?

KATIE:  Waffles. Listen to me. It's Starsky & Waff. I'm driving. Let's just get on with it, ok? There's crime to fight in Bay City. And we said we'd meet Huggy Bear an HOUR ago.

WAFFLES:  Right on, Boss. I'm ready for all the hot babes. 

KATIE:  Waffles! You can't wear that sweater! It's Starsky's sweater. 

WAFFLES:  I TOLD you I should be Starky.

#SingItKitty Caturday with Katie & Waffles

Hi everyone, Katie & Waffles here.

It's not often we run across a commercial that gets us kitties excited...but yesterday we (and just about everyone else on Facebook) were singing along to the latest campaign from the oh-so-clever UK mobile phone company, "Three."

And what better way to participate in the Caturday Art Blog Hop than with some silly art and video fun!

The campaign is called #SingItKitty and it's all about having fun. Their inspiration: "We all need some air-punching, buddy-hugging silly stuff."

What caught our attention was one of the most clever, fun and singalong-silly videos we've EVER seen. We just KNEW you'd want to watch it too. But first, we want to take a quick behind the scenes spin.

Behind the Scenes 
with Jolie & Bronte 
The campaign's latest film celebrates a shared moment between two friends. It tells the story of a girl and a cat who come together to share something silly, and end up taking us with on the most fun, emotional ride of their young lives.

The adorable young Jolie, discovered through street casting in Manchester, will steal your heart. Not only is she cute as pink, but her best buddy, a grey Persian named Bronte is a purr-fect sidekick.

Bronte is also a girl...we knew you'd ask! According to the filmmakers, she was an amazingly patient and happy star. She's lovingly owned by a well-known breeder of exotics and Persians, Caroline Bailey-Read, from Warwickshire.

Get ready to sing! The film features the 1985 classic, "We Built This City," from Starship.

KATIE:  In honor of the Caturday Art Blog Hop, we've decided to take a step back in time, and across the pond, to one of our favorite television dramas, Downton Abbey.

KATIE:  Waffles, does EVERYTHING have to be about you???

WAFFLES:  Jeez, Boss. Are you sure this isn't Downton Crabby?

KATIE:  Forget it, Waffles. Let's get on with it. So a few months back there were some hilarious photos making the rounds online. Dogster, Catster, the Huffington Post... everyone was sharing photo comparisons of the Downton Abbey characters as cats and dogs. 

So today, we ask, "What if..."

WAFFLES:  Um, what's a valet??? Is that like a mallet?

KATIE:  I sure hope this means I don't have to clean my own litter box.

KATIE:  *Her Ladynip* ... Except for the goofy get-up, I could get used to this.
