Fogged In Felines

WAFFLES:  Hey, BOSSSSS!

KATIE:  Busy, Waffles.

WAFFLES:  Can you see anything out the window yet?

KATIE:  It's still foggy.

WAFFLES:  Froggy? Really? How many do you see?

KATIE:  Foggy. Not froggy. If you're so curious, Waffles, why don't you get up and look out the window yourself?

WAFFLES:  But you're already up there. And I'm WAY down here.

KATIE:  Nope. Can't see a thing.

WAFFLES:  Are your eyes even OPEN, Boss?

KATIE:  *sigh* They are now. So if I tell I see frogs, will you leave me alone?

WAFFLES:  That depends. How many frogs?

A SUPER Foggy Weekend
Winter has started to tease us here in the mountains. We actually got a few snow flurries. At least we think we did. It was so foggy, we could barely see a thing out the windows the entire weekend.

So we hunkered down, turned on the heat, and made some yummy food. There may have been one or two naps involved as well. Ok, three.

Although we couldn't see the mountains in the distance, there's something magical about the fog. Even when the air is completely still and not a leaf or branch is moving, the fog moves through making the wind chimes just barely tinkle.

WAFFLES:  Tinkle???

No, not that kind of tinkle.

Spring, summer, fall, winter...we love them all. Every day is a beautiful gift.

  1. Wow, and it's still in the 70s here! 80s next week! My human keeps promising to take me somewhere where I can wear my winter wardrobe.

  2. We love fog! But we haven't really gotten any here. It makes us miss Duvall and the low hanging fog over the mountains.

  4. I can remember some cold winter mornings outside of Chicago where it was too cold for fog, so we got cute little flurries.

  5. We had heavy fog this morning, and the leaves were dripping with condensation! Not rain but fogdrops!

  6. Poor Katie! Another nap ruined by Waffles. He is super-cute though, so that's OK.
