KATIE: We're cats, Waffles. That's what we do.

KATIE: When Glogirly's Godparents arrive, it's all yours. I'll be stationed in the walk-in closet. Threat level orange.
WAFFLES: Orange? Glogirly's Godparents are ORANGE?
KATIE: Of course not, Waffles. *Yawn* But they're cat people, so expect lots of smells and a layer of foreign fur on their clothes.

While Glogirly is drafting this blog post, she's waiting in the cell phone lot at the airport. Balancing her laptop between her knees and the steering wheel. Don't worry, she's parked.
It won't be long and Waffles will have some new people to cuddle with, play with and sing to. And Katie...well, at least for the first few hours, perhaps days, she'll be hiding out in her Sleepypod inside the walk-in closet. That is until Glogirly gives them a tour of the house. And the closet.

ReplyDeleteKatie would dislike the foreign smells on our visitor tomorrow more than those on Glogirly's Godparents. We are be visited by an actual cat, and if things go well...he might stay! The nerves are stretched in our house. Here's hoping we both have awesome visits that have tons of cuddles!
