KATIE: So Waffles. If we put our Kritter Kondo outside on the balcony, are you going to behave yourself?
WAFFLES: Did you say BEEHIVE??? Boss, don't you know that bees are dangerous? They have those –
KATIE: Waffles, you seriously have to get your hearing checked. I said BEHAVE.
WAFFLES: Define *behave.*
KATIE: Waffles, if you have to ask... Now get back down here before you get stuck.
WAFFLES: Uh. Boss? I think I'm stuck.
KATIE: There. Much Better. Now I've got you right where I want you.
About Today's Photos & the Kritter Kondo
This cool kitty-walk enclosure is called a Kritter Kondo. It's been in our garage all winter and at the last minute we decided to bring it with us on our vacation last week in hopes of finding some nice weather. If you were following our daily vacation posts, you already know that we had a chance to enjoy the sights and sounds of Lake Superior from the safety and comfort of our lakeside deck. It was perfect!
It folds down completely flat and comes with a handy carrying case. We had no trouble at all fitting it in the back of our SUV. It would even fit in most trunks.
Many of you have been asking about it, so we though it would be fun to pull up some of our original photos from when we first wrote about the Kritter Kondo last spring.
As for the photos... anytime we shoot pictures for a product review, we never really know what we're going to get. The more interesting the product, the bigger the chance there is of Waffles doing something crazy. ...like crawling on the roof of the Kritter Kondo and getting his feet stuck in the mesh. Yes, only Waffles. You can't make this stuff up.
Have you every tried an outdoor kitty walk with your cats?
You can read our original review HERE.
The Kritter Kondo we have, as well as a slightly larger one, are available on Amazon.

Climbing on the roof of that Kritter Condo is something Binga would do too!
ReplyDeleteWe would be climbing all over it too!
ReplyDeleteNeat! You have a. KK....you will love it. Tell Glogorly to always keep an eye on you and to check the netting. You kitties have away of making ahole in the netting and you can escape through ot. We have had ours for about 4 - 5 years and have had to repair it. Just keep an eye on what they are doing every few minutes to be sure they haven't started to reateaholein the screening.
ReplyDeleteWe need one of those Kritter Condos! We love to go outside but the mom won't let us go out unsupervised and not without being on a leash. ~Wally & Ernie
ReplyDeleteWe would be climbing on it too ! Purrs
ReplyDeleteinside, outside, on top....it all works so long as the condo is IN the house :)
ReplyDeleteYou are lucky kitties!
ReplyDeleteYou all look like you are having a grand time. I wonder if Gemini and Ichiro would like one for out on the patio or the lawn? I am not interested in going out and am happy with the windows in the sun room.
ReplyDeleteWhich Kritter Kondo do you have? The options are very limited. I've been emailing with the owner and they probably will not make more of these. Is yours a Konnector or an original play enclosure? Are there doors on both ends? On the bottom picture (where Waffles is standing) it looks like there isn't a door.
ReplyDeleteWe have our catio and since our humans do not take us on vacation, we have no need for a Critter Condo. But it sure is great that y'all can put it on your balcony and enjoy the outdoors. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
ReplyDeleteWe love the thought of one of these things. Maybe after our mom is finished with her major landscaping chores, she will get us one and let us OUT!
ReplyDeleteWe have one of the Kittywalk brand with spikes to push in to the ground so kitties can enjoy the grass..The Kritter Kondo is really great for city kitties like Katie & Waffles..purrfect for letting them enjoy the outdoors on your balcony..especially since you have discovered that little Miss Katie has a adventurous side to her..mol..Have fun kids!
ReplyDeleteClimbing on top is like having an adventure course.
ReplyDeleteI would probably get my paw stuck!
ReplyDeleteLooks like lots of fun and entertainment
ReplyDeleteWaffles, you are SUCH a character, we adore you! This Kritter Kondo is fantastic, what a great idea to take along while traveling. Love it.

MOL! When Ashton was a wee kitten, she spent nights in a big dog cage, and Newton kept climbing on top. His legs fell through, too, Waffles. Maybe it's a orange cat thing.
ReplyDeleteI always wanted to win one but Pop doesn’t think the Super would appreciate them putting it in the common courtyard downstairs. It’s bigger than our condo. MOL!
ReplyDeleteMum has an oversized enclosure that she sometimes would take us outside. Or she could use it inside to keep me safe while I stranger was around. Or when I was new, Derby could see and sniff me, but not get at me.
ReplyDeleteWe're pretty sure Zoe, Gracie and Moosey would lay on top of that thing. MOL.
ReplyDeleteThat looks pawsome! Maybe when the mom bean quits spending her money on silly things likes trips and new computers she can buy us one!!!
ReplyDeleteSasha, Sami, & Saku
Wow I love the Kritter Kondo. It looks like so much fun. Spring is definitely more fun than winter for everybody.
ReplyDeleteThat looks very cool. Maybe our Mommy could take us outside to the park in that. Then we could REALLY see squirrles!
