WAFFLES: Orange fur?
KATIE: And LOTS of it.
Introducing Forever Furless™
by Lilly Brush
by Lilly Brush
Glogirly is positively GIDDY over her latest find from Lilly Brush. She's always had a love-hate relationship with standard lint rollers. She loves the idea of picking up cat hair from our furniture but hates that the rollers just don't work. We've got velvet, we've got microfiber...both known fur-magnets.
You've been there... going through a whole roll of sticky squares that tear off in uneven strips and scraps only to realize there's STILL cat hair on the chair. The Lilly Brush Man (not to be confused with the Fuller Brush Man) contacted us recently and shared a video of the brush in action. Watching this video was all it took... we HAD to try out this brush for ourselves.
So What Do We Think?
There's a new favorite lint brush in town and her name is Lilly. Honestly, we didn't think a pet hair and lint brush could be so exciting. But Lilly has proven us wrong.
Let Us Count the Ways.
1. Grabs ALL the hair and doesn't leave those little silky stragglers behind.
2. Grabs the hair and holds onto it...doesn't just redistribute it.
3. Dampen it ever so slightly and BAM! It's like turbo-hair-removal.
4. Ergonomically awesome. Did you SEE the video? It's slim enough to stick right into the cracks of your furniture.
5. Easy to clean off. Just pull the fur off with your fingers. For a like-new clean, simply rinse with water.
So Who's the Lilly behind Lilly Brush?
Lilly Brush was inspired by a shelter dog who, in the dark of night, was abandoned by the only family she'd ever known. Lilly was left at the animal shelter with nothing but a note explaining her family didn't want her anymore. They had travel plans that just didn't include her. Never allowed inside, she's spent her life to that point outside either in the sweltering heat or the freezing cold. Her spirit was broken and her body sick. Somehow Lilly still had the capacity to show love and won over the hearts of the Hamilton family.
They adopted her, got her the medical attention she needed and loved her. And Lilly loved them back. Now she spends her days playing in pillow forts and enjoying tummy rubs.
With every single Lilly Brush that's sold, Elise Hamilton donates a portion of the proceeds to animal shelters just like the one that Lilly came from.
Wait... Save Our Sweaters™ Too!
Lilly Brush also makes a GREAT sweater brush. At only 7" tall, including the easy-on-easy-off cover, it's super portable and perfect for slipping into a handbag or suitcase.
Glogirly could have paved her way to the moon and back with those sticky lint roller squares, trying to keep our furs off her sweaters. The Lilly Brush does a great job of grabbing fur, dust, even those annoying little sweater balls. Yet it's gentle enough for delicates.
Both are available available online and in stores.
Forever Furless™retails for $19.99 and Save Our Sweaters™ for $12.99.

Lilly Brush is also available in-store at Bed Bath and Beyond, Pet People and Krisers.

Oh wow! We definitely need to win these for Mom Paula for Christmas!
ReplyDeleteOops! We forgot to say that Brulee sheds the most in our house.
ReplyDeleteThe dog sheds more than all 3 cats!
ReplyDeleteWell, we'd say Jan sheds the most in our house but we'd have to lie. We guess Cyndi sheds the most.
ReplyDeleteLittle Hansi sheds the most (he's a ragdoll). I'm a close second, and Little Violet, an American shorthair, barely sheds at all.
ReplyDelete-kerry
OH this could be very handy. The male is all about getting rid of cat hair (silly him!)
ReplyDeletePepi sheds most. I wouldn't be surprised if we woke up with him bald one day. Our only medium-long hair! We need a Lilly brush so we can glue his fur back on. *wink* Not really, but so we can stop drowning in it!
ReplyDeleteWhat a handy brush, I shed a lot of Orange furs and we could definitely use this
ReplyDeleteWe can think of lots of bloggers that would love to find these in their Christmas stocking!
ReplyDeleteWe four kittehz are all shedders. Yuk!
You don't want to know what I get in my delicates.....
ReplyDeleteI have given up. The Farm cats have won. Everything is furred. I don't think anything can beat down four of them.
The big shedder is Leonardo, who has huge long fur and no idea how to keep himself clean (we blame poor parenting skills on the part of his poor abandoned mom)

{in the contest I am Margot Core on the Rafflecopter}
Out of our five Treeing Walker Coonhounds and three cats (all rescues), the one who sheds the most is our senior Maine Coon, Koneko. He sheds more than all the others combined!
ReplyDeleteAll 5 of my boys Shed :)
ReplyDeleteI don't know who sheds the most to my 2 furbabies. If I had to guess it would be the big boy he seems to have the longer hair of the 2 of them. But it is hard to tell since they have similar colorings, a handsome boy cat like you Miss Katie and a diluted calico girl cat. Lots of white furs everywhere with a few of other colors mixed in.
ReplyDeleteMy human says she really needs this - every time she picks up Boodie, it's a fur disaster waiting to happen! Of course, she LIKES having MY fur all over her... right?
ReplyDeleteWow! Mommy needs this!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWow dat's cool. Mommy needs dat. Hers always twyin' to find sumfin' to get da hair off her and everyfin' else in da house. MOL

It's a tie between Scylla & Fenris. Scylla's fur gets all over Mom & Dad's clothes and Fenris' fur gets all over the car.
ReplyDeletewow - if we don't win, mom may have to spend a few green papers. and what a wonderful story about Lilly's happy ending....
ReplyDeleteIt's pretty close, but Mom says Laila probably sheds the most. This awesome brush is a must have!
ReplyDeleteMust be something about orange fur - Furrgus gifts the house with eenough of it to let me knit a sweater! This would cut down on my sweater-knitting option, but would be a big save.
ReplyDeleteYES! We need this brush! Wally is the BIG shedder around here. And orange furs get on everything. You should know all about that, Katie.
ReplyDeleteActually, I think that *I* shed the most in our house...even with three cats... :)
ReplyDeleteI have five furbabies, but I think my Biscuit J. Catface sheds the most!
ReplyDeleteWaffles, you crack us up, silly boy!!...We all shed a lot, but Halle, the short haired Siamese, sheds the most out of the 3 girls, Daddy Cat sheds more than Mommy Cat...Happy Friday, sweet friends...xoxo...Calle, Halle, Sukki, Mommy Cat, Daddy Cat

ReplyDeleteNoodle
Looks like a great brush! Would love to try it!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea!
ReplyDeleteOMC! With nine of us here, we know our mom and dad sure need to check these out. Those lint rollers? Ugh, ugh, ugh. So wasteful.
ReplyDeleteBoth boys pretty much shed equally
ReplyDeleteOur furniture obviously sheds the most. It's just not feasible that the seven purrrfect cats who live here would contribute to this (or any other) problem.
ReplyDeleteThat brush looks like a great tool ! Good luck to our US friends ! Purrs
ReplyDeleteBig Bad Boris is the biggest shedder of all time paws down!
ReplyDeleteMy blue chair is always covered in my white furs!
Looks like a vast improvement over the sticky tape method.

I think that would be TW. I find long coarse gray hairs on everything. You should see what she empties offa her brush everyday. Once upon a time TW had bought a special tool to de-pill her cashmere sweaters but it vanished. We’d love to try this brush to compare it with the Pledge Fabric Brush that TW swears by.
ReplyDeleteDakota sheds the most in our house and guaranteed it can't keep up with him! ;)
