Whiskerslist Page-A-Day Calendar Giveaway

WAFFLES:  Hey Boss! Is it New Years yet? Our new calendar says it's New Years! Is it?
KATIE:  Waffles, it's not even Halloween.

WAFFLES:  So how come the calendar says January?
KATIE:  Because we're giving away a whiskerslist calendar and it would be silly to wait until January?

WAFFLES:  Oh yeah, cause we have to get ready to get ready for the new year. Right?

Last fall we introduced you to fellow cat blogger Angie Bailey's hilarious book and website, whiskerslist - the kitty classifieds. It's an incredibly clever parody that answers the question, "What if cats used craigslist?"  We laughed our way through the whole book. (You can read our review HERE.)

    Well, luckily my cats get along great with the dogs, so they wouldn't likely write a classified to get rid of them. My daughter's kitten, Arata (who just turned one a few weeks ago but is still ALL kitten) would write: "Wanted, lifetime supply of plastic drinking straws." Arata started playing with straws at his foster home and they even sent his favorite straw with him when we adopted him over 8 months ago. He still has that straw, plus a whole collection of others.

    Love this calender. My oldster kitty would be writing a classified for the newer kitty in the household. He'd be stating something about diluted calico looking for someone to play hard and hunt bugs. He's 15 and she's only 3 and plays too hard for him. The ads are all too funny.

    I loved my I Can Haz Cheesburger calendar and am seriously missing it this year, since they didn't make one for 2014. I'm looking forward to this one and I'll have to snag one if I don't win one. :)
