Hi everyone, Katie here.
We all have a different opinion on size. Some of you say it matters. Some don't. *I* say it's relative. Sure, I've got the numbers in my favor. For now. Weighing in at a solid 12 pounds, forget the Vet says I need to trim down to 11, I out-heft the orange boy-beast by about 5 pounds. That can pack a pretty big punch.
Still, Waffles Too thinks he can posture his way to the top... despite looking like a GOOFBALL. |
And when that doesn't work, he'll just plain CLIMB his way to the top ...where the camera angle is on his side. |
Back where you belong, Waffles Too. Better luck next time. |
Dear friends,
Please take our COMMENT POLL located near the top of our sidebar!
Thank mew!

I don't know Katie - sometimes the little ones can surprise you and remember, he isn't done growing yet.
ReplyDeleteMy dear girl, you're but a wee slip of a ladycat (and let me know if you'd like me to claw any vet that says otherwise)
ReplyDeleteThat Waffles better learn that the only thing that matters is PECKING order. First in = IN CHARGE. Of EVERYTHING. *looking pointedly at Hammy*
Aw, it won't be long before you guys are the same size. Odin and Katie weigh the same but he's all muscle.
ReplyDeleteAh, Miss Layla??? "...but he's all muscle." What exactly are you implying?
Delete; ) Katie
Odin is very athletic and would be happy to share his exercise secrets with Katie. Parkour anyone?
DeleteClyde is still waiting for more break dancing and zazzy paws from W2. So what gives?
ReplyDeletePaws up
Clyde The Boneless
Waffles Too may grow bigger than you, but Katie, you've got the brains and that's what counts.
ReplyDeleteWaffles is already 7 pounds? Holy cat! I'm full grown and only weigh 9.6 lbs. He's gonna be a biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig kitty.
ReplyDeleteWe're missing "jazz hands"! We know it's aggravating, but sadly, we're addicted. It's kinda like a train wreck - you just can't look away. MOL!
ReplyDeleteWe love how you showed Waffles Too who's boss by sitting calmly while he danced around you. :D
ReplyDeleteYes, it does matter, but he is rapidly gaining on you, girl.
ReplyDeleteKatie, have you looked at the poll results lately? Have you seen which answer is in the lead? I think you are underestimating Waffles. Just sayin'.
ReplyDeleteJust be careful, Katie, you never know if the orange goober will grow up to be one of those huge long tall kitties! You'll still be top cat, of course, even if he does get bigger!
ReplyDeleteMiss Katie, all little fury boys think they are a lion !
ReplyDeleteSmudge my next door cat, he used to bigger than me ! He used to be the biggest cat on my street. 2 years later now I'm the biggest cat on my street !!!! I'm 8 kg. ( 17.6 pound ) , so be very very afraid. !
Watch out he might just get bigger than you..MOL, you was in the spam, was you hungry..MOL It's nice at your pad and we love the photo's.Will be back :) xx00xx
ReplyDeleteMollie and Alfie
You're not too heavy! You've got to keep showing Waffles Too who's the boss while he's a wee one.
ReplyDeleteWait till Waffles gets bigger! Yikes! Lion Heart! Have a terrific Tuesday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
We voted on we like to read replies to others. For us we don't come back to old post so it would be wasted. However posting comment was the same as always...no worries.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
We don't know, Katie. At the rate Waffles is growing, he's going to be as big as a refrigerator by the time he is a year old. Is there room in the townhouse for him if he gets that big?
ReplyDeleteEnjoy having the size advantage while you can Katie. It doesn't last very long.
ReplyDeleteMistletoe
Waffles Too will catch up someday, but for now, he might be able to sneak by with his small size :) Enjoy it while you can, Katie!! <3
ReplyDeleteKatie you sure are tough on Waffles...Bet you're great friends when he grows up
ReplyDeletesize doesn't matter!!! but don't do anything foolish... Waffles won't stay little forever... and payback is a you know what
ReplyDeleteWell, we've heard those little guys can pack a punch...so you better watch your step, Katie...never let down your guard!
ReplyDeleteBetter watch out Katie...I think Waffles Too is gonna be bigger than you!
ReplyDeleteSize does not matter! Us little girls here rule the house, especially Bennette. She's tiny and NO ONE messes with her. NO ONE!
ReplyDeleteHmmmm! Me being half the size of Tigger has its benefits! Like getting through narrow spaces and getting to the door first!! But Katie, you have the charm and the errr experience! ;)
ReplyDeleteAt our house Callie has size and smarts on her side, so she rules!!! But Callie says... watch out for orange boy kitties - they grow big and they are usually Men of Mischief!
ReplyDeleteThey're so ridiculousy cute together though. Meeeeeeeeeeowwwww. :)
ReplyDeleteBut Katie wins the facial expression contest.
ReplyDeleteha ha - looks like you are still trying to show him who rules in that house! Good for you girl! He maybe cute and all that, but he needs to have manners!
ReplyDeleteWe agree with others, Waffles may end up bigger in volume than you, but you have the brains!
ReplyDeleteOh Katie! Hope he stays a pip squeak or you may have to put him on Craigs List
ReplyDeleteBenny & Lily
Hi Katie, you have nice coloring and cuter ears. Waffles Too is handsome but you're beautiful.
ReplyDeleteOooo GIRL! In that third picture, I'm surprised Waffles Too isn't a smoldering pile of CINDERS with that laser look coming out of your eyes! WHOOOOOOOO! M O L
ReplyDeleteStill, he DOES posture rather nicely, doesn't he?
BONKS!

We think the scales may tip in another 5 or 6 months. Then Katie might want to have another strategy rather than size counts!
ReplyDeleteSize doesn´t matter is all about the brain :)
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, Waffles is getting to be such a big boy... look out Katie...
