Hi everyone, Katie here.
Glogirly and Gloman have BOTH been sick. Gloman went to urgent care on Sunday and Glogirly went on Christmas Eve. You will not BELIEVE who Glogirly saw at urgent care just a few hours before he was to board his sleigh. That's right. The man in red. Well actually he was wearing jeans and a plaid shirt, but there was no mistaking his identity.
It was Santa.
Glogirly was unable to photograph the real Santa, what with being inside urgent care and all. But he looked just like this guy, only shorter.
Glogirly eavesdropped as best she could. He said his name was Croft or something and that he had a "party" to get to. Sounded suspicious.
He seemed to have some sort of special clearance and went in ahead of everyone in the waiting room. That was the last she saw of him.
They must have made him better, because although I never saw him, I KNOW he made a stop here at the Townhouse. Waffles Too was supposed to keep me awake, so it's all his fault I missed seeing Santa. But thankfully he still left us a nice pile of kitty loot.
So now I'm giving Waffles Too some advanced nurses training. With both Glogirly and Gloman sipping cough suppressant cocktails and visiting with Aunt Biotics day and night, we have our paws full. We're very sorry this has kept us from visiting and commenting on all of your blogs, but we've been reading your comments and loving every one of them.
Hey, if you missed the cool video we all made for Gloman, you should check it out. It stars me, of course. But Waffles Too has a drum solo that everyone seems to love. I guess the kid's got a future. Glogirly says the best part of the video was watching Gloman watch it. He was smiling, laughing and wiping his eyes.
Humans need lots of biskits and headbumpies when they are sick. Put Waffles to work, STAT! Sending purrs of comfort for your peeps. We hope they are feeling better soon. XOXO
ReplyDeletePee Ess - you kittehz have mad music skillz!
ReplyDeleteOur work is never done. I hope you guys got some extra noms for all this nursing work...
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry to hear that the Glohumans are sick. That's no fun at the holidays. We all hope they are better very soon. Goat hugs from all of us here at the Farm.
ReplyDeleteI hope your humans feel better soon! I am wondering if Boodie caught some of what they have - she puked up ALL her dinner on Christmas Eve, and my human was ready to take her to the emergency vet today if she didn't improve, but she seems to have kept everything down today and even played with one of the presents we got!
ReplyDeleteGet well soon! The video was extra sweet. Must be the little orange demon comes in handy sometimes.
ReplyDeleteMaybe you should send Waffles Too out for some Catbucks. Those usually perk those humans up fairly quickly!
ReplyDeleteGet well soon gloman and glogirly!nice to see you 2 kitties getting along too
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas, we hope your folks are feeling better soon. I had to go to the emergency vet today too, so we have some sympathy for feeling poorly.

Sending purrs to get well for both your humans. It is no fun being sick ever, but over Christmas, it really doesn't seem fair. Keep up your good nursing skills, kitties. And maybe play some drums and Guitar for them.
ReplyDeleteOh noooo!!! You have been sick for quite some time, I bet you never went to the doctor til the other day, shame on you!! Hoping you are both feeling better soon, at least it will give you more snuggle time together!

So sorry the Glopeeps are sick. Hope they give you extra treats for all the TLC you're giving! This takes time away from playing with kittie loot. We loved the video. You both have musical talent. Take care!

ReplyDeleteThat was a real sweet little moobee, but there was too much Human and not enough cat in it. Wow--sorry the Peeps are sick--I hope they were well enough to feed you and give you presents and stuff, because otherwise, really, what good are they? XOXOXOXOX

Whew - it's a good think you are training Waffles how to be a good Nurse Katie. With two humans sick at the same time it takes two of you to keep up with them. Loved your video for Gloman.
ReplyDeleteGlogirly and Gloman are soo lucky to have you two as nurses :)
ReplyDeleteCool video! You two sure are cool cats, playing those instruments!
ReplyDeleteAteret has sent you extra love and purrs. She says she hopes you feel her love and get well soon.
ReplyDeleteWe are sorry that Glogirly and Gloman are sick. We hope that they get well very SOON.
ReplyDeleteI'm really surprised that Waffles Too is not in a doctor's outfit. I was sure he'd demand that training so he could be the boss of you, Katie.
Glogirly must really be sick to have that hallucination about seeing Santa Claus in Urgent Care.
