ELLIE:  Mr. Waaaaaafffles! Whatcha doing down there? 

WAFFLES:  You know, the usual. Just looking handsome for the ladies.

ELLIE:  Can I look handsome with you too?

WAFFLES:  It's kind of a mancat thing, Ellie. 

ELLIE:  Mancat thing? 

WAFFLES:  You're kind of girly...you know, like Glogirly. What with all that eyeliner and stuff.

Every time we share one of Ellie's photos, we hear about her beautiful eyeliner. It's pretty hard to be jealous of a little kitty, but Glogirly sure would love it if she could apply eyeliner as purf-fectly as Miss Ellie! That's one of those elusive makeup tricks Glogirly has never been able to master.

It just so happens that Ellie's little pink nose is the color of Glogirly's lip gloss too.  Glogirly may be part cat, and Ellie sure is part Glogirly. 💕

Ellie, Waffles, and the Valentines Paper

ELLIE:  Thanks for the Valentines paper, Mr. Waffles! 

WAFFLES:  Valentines paper???

ELLIE:  Didn't you get me all this paper for Valentines Day? Paper is my FAVORITE toy ever. Like ever EVER. I thought you knew.

WAFFLES:  But it's not even pink. 

ELLIE:  Yeah, but it's PAPER. 

WAFFLES:  And there aren't any hearts or anything. 

ELLIE:  Valentines isn't about pink hearts and stuff, Mr. Waffles. 

WAFFLES:  It's about being with someone you love, right? 

ELLIE:  You mean like paper?

WAFFLES:  No. Like ME, right? 

ELLIE:  I was kind of thinking it was about–

ELLIE:  PAPER!!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy Belated Valentines Day, everyone! It was super cold up here in the mountains so we built a fire to snuggle next to. Gloman's favorite kindling is the left over packing paper from all the stuff Glogirly buys online. 

Ellie goes CRAZY for the packing paper. As long as Glogirly keeps shopping, Ellie will never need another cat toy! LOL!

Ellie the Snake Charmer

ELLIE:  Hey Mr. Waffles! Have you met my new friend?

WAFFLES:  You do realize that's a SNAKE, right? A slithering, slippery thing with a tongue that sticks out.

ELLIE:  He's not very slippery, Mr. Waffles. He's kind of furry. And pink.

WAFFLES:  Well you better look out, Ellie. He might jump you if you're not careful.

ELLIE:  There, there, Mr. Snake. You're not going to jump are you?

WAFFLES:  Kind of looks like he's jumping. 

ELLIE:  Is he ok, Mr. Waffles?

WAFFLES:  I don't think he's moving.

ELLIE:  Don't worry, Mr. Snake. I'll make it better.

We just received our February CatLadyBox and one of the toys tucked inside all the goodies for Glogirly was this Hissy Kissy Snake kicker toy. Ellie is a little too young to realize that some kitties are scared of snakes. (And some people too!) 

Waffles was pretty busy investigating and supervising while she made fast friends with Mr. Snak

A couple of times during a more spirited play session, Mr. Snake got stuck to one of Ellie's claws and when flying. That was an unexpected surprise for both kitties. (!)

Sweet Dreams

ELLIE:  ...butterflies and birds and squirrels and Mr. Waffles. Zzzzzzz...

WAFFLES:  You're dreaming again, Ellie. You kind of wiggle when you dream. 

ELLIE:  ...watching movies and eating snacks and sleeping on Gloman's lap. Zzzzzzz..... With Mr. Waffles.

WAFFLES:  And when you wiggle, you wake me up. 

ELLIE:  ...Mr. Waffles, Mr. Waffles, Mr. Waffles... Zzzzz...

WAFFLES:  Still wiggling, Ellie. 

ELLIE:  Zzzzzz.

WAFFLES:  Finally. Zzzzzz.

Glogirly has been taking lots of photos lately, but it seems like every single one has Waffles and Ellie joined at the hip. Or with their heads mushed together in sleepy bliss. It's cuteness overload every single evening. Sure, there are a few brief breaks from the cuddling for meal and litter box activities, but they are super quick to return to their default cuddling position. On Gloman's lap. 

Meanwhile, Gloman is trapped. LOL!
