We think the look from you said it all, Katie. MOL! We've often heard Mommy say,"get they while they're young and train them the way you want." You think she was talkin bout kittehz? We do!
Awww, we feel sorry for Waffles Too, because we remember what it was like to come into the house with an existing cat (Annie). It wasn't fun, let us tell you! We sure hope that you aren't as surly with him as she was with us!
PS - Poor baby ... I have to admit, I remember what it was like being the "newbie" ... boy I wouldn't go through THAT again for all the kibble in Catdom!
Did Yous Hiss!?! Me did and Kozmo STILL lets mes eat when me wants to, even though he is 2 times the size of mes! Thanks yous for the Christmas Card! Me LOVES it! Kisses Nellie
That must be some look, Katie, to get Waffles Too to back down without the smacky paw :) we almost feel sorry for him there at the end...almost... :D (you bring back memories, or maybe that's nightmares, for Pip and Smidgen, hee hee!)
ok. Katie, not bad. You now have him somewhat controlled...but you MUST STAY ON TOP OF THIS!! There will always be a relapse to basic kitten behavior which you MUST correct...be vigilant...you can do this Katie...
1. always wash your paws before food!
ReplyDelete2. Make sure the coast is clear for food!
3. Walk away if #2 doesn't apply!
Yup! we'd say he is following all the rules!
It looks like you two are almost getting along

ReplyDeleteAllie: Excellent technique! If only Faraday were that easily intimidated...
ReplyDeleteYou show great restraint, Katie! Never resort to physical force when a stern look will accomplish your objective.

The most important rule: girls eat first!

ReplyDeleteAwww . . .poor Waffles! And he looks so hungry too. We all get our very own bowls so there is no competition, in theory that is.

ReplyDeleteDear Katie
ReplyDeleteCould you please come to our house and teach OUR kittens table manners??! You obviously have Waffles Too under control. We are impressed.
