    Dear Glogirly, Alas, no, we do not live in lovely Monterey...we live smack-dab in the middle of San Francisco. The Human is at an English-teacher conference in Monterey, which is about 120 miles south ;-) Yes, I think people *do* have to win the lottery to move down here...or pitch a tent maybe!
