BlogPaws Day 1: Some Furry Attendees

Hi everyone, Katie On-A-Stick here.

Today was the first official day of BlogPaws! Flat Waffles and I were making the rounds with Glogirly and you'll never BELIEVE who we caught her chumming around with.

I sure hope there's no more room left in her suitcase, or the REAL Katie and Waffles are in for a BIG surprise.

Meet Triscuit the Kitten from Tails From The Foster Kittens:

Go ahead and squee. You know you want to.

Here's Triscuit with Catladyland's Angie Bailey.

And here's Triscuit with I Have Cat's Tamar. They were passing him around like a box of...well, Triscuits.

Next up is sweet Odilia. This too-cute-for-words blind kitten is just a wee little girl and full of love.

Uh...what kind of cat is THIS??? I have no idea how this photo of @PepperPom made it into the blog.

Here we go, this is more like it. Katie & Waffles On-A-Stick with the infamous Plush Cathy Keisha

We're having a BLAST and can't wait to share more! See you tomorrow.

BlogPals

Hi everyone, Flat Katie here.

More from my BlogPaws Files...
Real Katie is beginning to realize the genius of Flat Katie. I blog for her, I travel for her...I even go nose to nose, or in this case head to mouth, with DOGS for her.  Don't worry, that large beast-monster was just a BlogPaws Flat Dog. No one - human, pet or flat was harmed in the making of this photograph.

I was all lathered up, as much as a cat-on-a-stick can be, to meet my blogging pal, Snoopy! Seems Snoops thinks I smell like the real thing, as opposed to foamcore and spraymount.

FINALLY the girl from Minneapolis and the girl from New York City meet. It's been three long years since the virtual meeting of Glogirly and Tamar from I Have Cat. I guess it took Flat Katie to bring them together. This is at the big swanky awards show. You can't see it, but I've got my acceptance speech taped to the back of my head.

So pretty soon, Glogirly is going to catch on. I'm sensing a Flat Glogirly on the horizon. Maybe Flat Glogirly can find a job while the real one hangs at home with me making silly cat pictures.

INNOCENT!

I Have Cat's Manhattan Lawcat Petie and Katie at a press conference earlier today.

Hi everyone, Katie here.

This just in -
I Have Cat's Petie, the Manhattan Lawcat representing Katie in the alleged homicide of Mabel Mouse, announced in a press conference earlier today that all charges against the widely popular tuxie cat have been DROPPED.

According to Wally Island Cat, Chief Medical Examiner in the case, forensic evidence has ruled out Katie as the killer.  The full coroner's report has not yet been released, leaving rampant speculation as to cause of death.  The blogosphere is anxious to know if the mouse died of natural causes or if the case will continue to be investigated as a homicide.  The ME's office has not officially commented on the matter.

On the heels of this highly anticipated announcement comes even more cryptic evidence.  Home video footage submitted annonymousely shows a distorted image of the possible killer. Although the legitimacy of the video has not yet been verified, sources indicate the unknown figure may have been present at the crime scene on the date in question.

Whodunnit BlogPaws Giveaway

Hi everyone, Katie here.

It all started last week with allegations of Shoelace Tampering. Then Mabel the Mouse was found dead in the townhouse and all paws pointed at me. Facing a possible murder charge, my future hangs in the balance. Circumstantial evidence is mounted against me, though I continue to maintain my plea of innocence.

If you're just tuning in...
Click HERE for Shoelace Tampering story.
Click HERE for Murder Allegations story.

Left:  I Have Cat's Petie, chief legal council for Katie, "I am confident justice will prevail and the TRUE killer will be identified."
Middle:  Scene of the crime inside Katie's townhouse; Mabel Mouse, deceased.
Right:  Family spokesmouse, Mick, at press conference. "Uh, what are these stick things pointing at my face for?"

On Friday, TMZ released case-breaking video footage. Click HERE if you missed it. The mysterious grey haired cat seen through my window has raised reasonable doubt that I may in fact have been framed.

Cat Eye Witness - Identity Withheld
Word in the alley is that the mysterious grey-haired cat is a key witness to the crime and being held in protective custody. His/her identity has not been revealed, however the cat is rumored to be a well-known master gardener from the Portland, OR area and an expert in mice control.

The authorities have identified 7 cats of interest and one dog in connection with this crime.  It is not known which or how many are considered suspects. All appear in the above lineup.

Congrats I Have Cat(s)

Hi everyone, Katie here.

Yesterday our good friends at I Have Cat hit a MAJOR milestone - 20,000 Likes on Facebook. OMC, that's alotta-likes! If all their friends have an average of 2.5 cats, that's 50,000 CATS!!! Whoa, that's alotta-cats!

Glogirly and I had the privilege of designing their new Facebook cover and profile pics! We must give a huge shout out to Amy Paul, the fab artist that created the original illustration of Tamar & Petie.  All WE did was play around with an umbrella, a thumb and a bunch of cats.

If you're one of the few cats left on planet earth that has not met Tamar, Petie and the I Have Cat gang, be sure to swing by Facebook or their BLOG and give them a MEW from me and you!

I Have Cat ModShaker

Hi everyone, Katie here.

When Glogirly told me I could have any new toy I wanted, I insisted on an I Have Cat ModShaker. Created by Moderncat for fellow bloggers Tamar and Petie from I Have Cat, the shaker is paws down the most fabulously cool and intoxicating toy I've EVER had. And NO, I was not bribed, paid or coerced into testing this product for review. I'll have you know, I bought my shaker with my very own green papers from my allowance. What? You don't get an allowance?

Ok, the back to the shaker.  After careful testing in my lab, I give you the top FIVE reasons I'm in love with my new I Have Cat ModShaker.
1.  The fabric is printed with mini Petie's, my furriend from I Have Cat.
2.  It's filled with intoxicating primo catnip.
3.  It has a hidden shaker inside that RATTLES.
4.  It's small enough for holding onto so no one else can get their paws on it.
5.  It's big enough for maximum bunny kickability.

Oh, and it's pink.  Everyone knows the pink ones are always the BEST.
Ok, that was six. I'm a cat and I don't care about math.

I happen to know that supplies are EXTREMELY limited.  There are three sizes and the largest ModKicker is already sold out.   The medium ModKicker is $6 and my ModShaker was only $5.  Shipping was uber-cheap too.

I give the I Have Cat ModShaker FOUR enthusiastic paws up.

Click HERE to find out how to get your own.  Because you're not getting mine.

And The Oscar Goes To

Hi everyone, Katie here.

Bet you didn't know I've been keeping company with the likes of Meryl Streep, Helen Mirren... Sure, Meryl may have lost count of how many friends named Oscar she has. And Mirren, well she's an award winning Queen. Did you know Prince Charles even made her a Dame?

But it is ME that deserves an award for my convincing and moving portrayal of an affectionate cat devoted to her girl.

Just look at this scene. Now THIS is award winning acting. I'm a method actor. I'm in the zone, playing an affectionate and loving cat. I bet you can hardly tell I'm acting at all. I'm not sleeping either... I'm concentrating on the moment, and my character's thought process.

If you read that accusatory dribble Glogirly called a Guest Blog over on I Have Cat a couple weeks ago, you already know that I am a skilled manipulator of human behavior. I've got Glogirly thinking I don't like her and in fact, favor Gloman.

Well the truth is, I play Glogirly. I play Gloman.
And I love it.

Playing the two of them is what gets me up in the morning. I love making HER think that I depend upon her soley for caloric sustenance and litter box maintenance. I love making HIM think I'm a gullible and obedient dog-cat... coming when he calls, rolling over, fetching.

This is me, messing with Gloman. Pretending to be a dog.
Just another act.

Devoted BFF. Yup, just another act.

Every once in awhile I put on a show for Glogirly. I give her that devoted BFF bullfluff just to keep her guessing and maintain my sharp acting skills.

So move over, Mirren.
Step aside, Streep.
I have my acceptance speech ready.
