Post Christmas Scenes from the Cats

WAFFLES:  How about a Christmas kiss, Boss?

KATIE:  How about NOT.

WAFFLES:  What if I meet you under the missile paws?

KATIE: You mean mistleTOE? Same answer.

WAFFLES:  Fine, Hey Boss, this one totally smells like KFC. Extra crispy. Definitely extra crispy.

KATIE:  Waffles, I'm pretty sure Santa doesn't do his Christmas shopping at KFC.

WAFFLES:  Duh, Boss. He's got elves for that.

KATIE:  Ok, but he's still got to fly all the presents, and in your case fried chicken, from the North Pole to here. In his sleigh. It's going to be way cold by the time it gets here. And definitely not extra crispy.

WAFFLES:  Doesn't he have one of those warmer thingies like the pizza man has?

A Meowy Mountain Christmas
We hope you enjoy a few scenes from our first family Christmas here in the Colorado mountains. We are so very blessed to have a warm roof over our heads, delicious food on our table and presents under our tree. Ok, so our Christmas tree is actually outside and the presents were technically under a table behind the sofa.

We are most thankful though, for the love of family, friends and you, our dear readers. From our hearts to yours, Happy Holidays.

Here are a couple of scenes from our Christmas Eve dinner. In year's past, Waffles got his paws (and teeth) into the beef tenderlioin, but his year the dinner managed to escape his grasp.

  1. Warm, happy holidays from all of us here in sunny southern California!

  2. Looks like you all had a lovely holiday - the photos are wonderful!

  3. Santa has a huge supply of coal. Maybe he uses that to keep the KFC warm.

  4. You’re probably right, Chuck! Mol. Happy Holidays to you in Colorado. We love you.

  5. Very festive Xmas gift table, had to go back and take a closer look after reading that. Love it.

  6. Very nice photos. Glad you had a nice Christmas.

  8. I was really hoping Waff would get one of those KFC-scented fire logs.

  9. oh what delightfully fun photos and yum that beef tenderloin looks amazing!! I cracked up when Waffles asked if Santa had one of those warmers like pizza drivers have. Too funny!!!!

  10. Purrty tree and you get to have it every year. That tenderloin looks yummy. I will hope mum makes one soon.

  11. Waffles, I'll give you a big ol' smoochie!
    Happy 'Mew' Year!

  12. Everything looks beautiful! Glad your first mountain Christmas was full of joy. And Waffles, Santa should have a pizza warmer on the sleigh. We agree!
