WAFFLES: How many seconds before we turn, Boss?
KATIE: On my three.
WAFFLES: On your three what?
KATIE: On my three. You know... 1, 2, 3.
KATIE: Waffles! We're supposed to turn together. That's what synchronized window whiffing means. Without the synchronized, it's just–
WAFFLES: Window whiffing? What's wrong with window whiffing?
KATIE: Did you not see the headline on our blog today?
WAFFLES: Yeah, but that one word is really big and I can't read it.
KATIE: Well you can count, can't you?
WAFFLES: Duh, Boss. I can totally count. 1, 2, 3, CHICKEN!
KATIE: Well that's actually a robin, but close enough.
About Today's Photos
After nearly a week of rain, the sun is shining and the birds are tweeting. It's that short-lived time of year here in Minnesota, just before the a/c weather kicks in, that brings Katie and Waffles together. It's pretty rare to spot them only inches apart and not engaging in some high-spirited patty cake. Spring is most definitely a magical season.
It's been almost summer like here. The Farm cats have been lounging on the deck.
ReplyDeleteWindow whiffies can definitely calm the savage beasts here in Oklahoma, too!
ReplyDeleteFresh air will bring together the oddest couples!
