Waffles & the Ghost Story #SundaySelfies

WAFFLES:  Hey Boss, let's tell some ghost stories! I bet I can scare you. 



KATIE: Waffles, you've been scaring me since the moment we met. Now turn off the light and quit fooling around.



WAFFLES:  This is much better. Ok, are you ready?

KATIE:  Ready for what?

WAFFLES:  For my ghost story, Boss!

KATIE:  Waffles, do you even know any ghost stories?

WAFFLES:  Uh, yeah. I know LOTS of ghost stories.

KATIE:  Alright then. Let's hear one.

WAFFLES:  Ok. So once upon a time there was a ghost. And he had a story. Um, did I tell you he was a ghost?

KATIE:  Waffles, you wouldn't know a ghost if it bit you on the–



WAFFLES:  Wait. They BITE???





About Today's Photos
Every once in awhile, when there's a break in the daily patty cake action, Katie and Waffles will occasionally look like they're having a real conversation. There's eye contact, a tilt of the head and sometimes even a tiny vocalization. Of course Glogirly would give just about anything to hop inside their heads and hear what they're really talking about. A girl can dream!

And so she does.

    Waffles, we have ghosts that come to our apartment. I talk to them cuz I'm the only one who can see them, and the ones here in NJ don't bite. Maybe the ones in Minnesota are hungry or something...Purrs from your favorite east coast tuxie girl, Manhattan (the other Squeedunk cats say hey, too!)
