Townhouse Under Siege

WAFFLES:  Hey Boss! Nice helmet.

KATIE:  Nice goggles, Waffles.

WAFFLES:  So, Boss? What's a siege and why do I have to go under it?

KATIE:  Didn't you notice Glogirly moving ALL the furniture yesterday? She's got the whole Townhouse turned upside-down. There's dressers in the kitchen, office furniture in the bathrooms...

WAFFLES:  And did you see my scratcher? It's sitting on the TOILET!!! It's super cool.

KATIE:  Well I hope the lid is closed.

WAFFLES:  So I still don't get what a siege is. Or WHO Siege is? Maybe he's coming over for dinner!

KATIE:  You WISH. All of the carpeting is being cleaned today. There's going to be strangers with giant hoses traipsing through the Townhouse, probably touching all of our stuff. Lots of loud equipment and banging. Word is you and I are going to be locked in the downstairs junk room.

WAFFLES:  TOGETHER???

KATIE:  *sigh* Yes, together.

WAFFLES:  And I thought my scratcher on top of the toilet was cool!!!

WAFFLES:  Bring on the SIEGE!!!

  1. Well at least you'll be out of the way of the sucking monsters and stuff! I would hate that. Fortunately for me, all the carpet cleaning was done when I was gone!

  5. Aw man, Katie, that blows! And even my human has the sense to lock me and Binga up separately when there is stuff going on that requires us kitties to be locked up.

  6. We hope the siege doesn't last long...for Katie's sake.

  7. Allegra and Ruby think the vacuum monster is scary enough. They can't imagine having to deal with what you two are about to endure! I hope Glogirly has plenty of Stress Stopper for both of you.

  10. Wow, the way Waffles talks about it, we're kind of hoping WE can be under siege, too! :)

Seriously, though, we hope the carpet cleaning goes smoothly. Hugs to you all.

  12. you will have SO much work to do when they leave: getting your scent back on the carpets and also your fur. hope you are up to the task....can't wait to read about how it all goes!

  13. Yikes! But just think of all the fun you're going to have helping Glogirly get all the stuff back in it's right place.

  22. Oh, oh : good luck ! You'll have a lot of work after the invaders journey : fur to shed, your own smell to put again everywhere, ... Purrs

  23. Oh noooo! We had the scary rug sucky people here a couple months ago to do the rug and sofa. Having visitors is one thing, but having visitors who drag enormous, loud hoses through the house is another. We sympathize with both of you.

  24. Oh no! That sounds as bad as when they cleaned my duck work. You got ear plugs with that helmet, Katie?

  25. hope it all went swimmingly, well...maybe swimmingly wasn't the appropriate word with suds and water!

  26. Hmmm...we're going to definitely need to get our carpets done too. Particularly as "poopy pants" Jetta had an accident.

  27. Have fun in the closet with your Siege you two!
