WAFFLES: I knight thee, "Sir Boss."
KATIE: Waffles, what have I told you about touching me?
WAFFLES: I'm not touching you, I'm touching your head.
KATIE: Seriously? Same question, Waffles.
WAFFLES: Uh, can you repeat the question?
KATIE: I said, what have I told you about touching me?
WAFFLES: I don't know Boss. Can't you remember?
KATIE: I wasn't asking you, Waffles. It's more of a rhetorical question. I shouldn't even have to ask you. You should just know.
WAFFLES: What am I supposed to know?
KATIE: TOUCHING, Waffles. Touching!
WAFFLES: Why didn't you say so?
About Today's Photos
It's breakfast at the Townhouse, which for Waffles and Katie means another spirited game of Patty Cake. There's just something about mealtime that compels Waffles to engage her. One minute it's all peace and harmony, but once the food dishes come out the games begin.
We have exactly the same situation in our home with Max and Ava ~ it's always at meal times too!ReplyDelete
You.Don't.Want.To.Know. Harry and Sherpa. Sherpa and Harry. Harry and Snowy. I gotta watch my feet around here.ReplyDelete
We have a little touching here, too. However, Max and Kirby want to touch Angel a little too rough!ReplyDelete
It's been a while since Binga whapped me at breakfast time - I almost kind of miss it.ReplyDelete
We don't do much touching here...... it's an occasional whapping and chasing. Happy New Year!ReplyDelete
This dance plays out at my house too. Here we have the added amusement of Izzy, my 24 month old tortie who recently had to have all her teeth extracted. So imagine that last shot by replacing waffles with Izzy, and Katie with either Nicky or Dusty. The boys realize Izzy has no teeth to back up her bite, and they have the most hilarious looks on their faces when she clamps her jaws down on their neck or other body part. The expressions as their eyes roll, I can almost hear them laughing at her "seriouslies Izzy, you do know you gots no fangs or teefs in there, right? You're not even tickling us". Izzy try's so hard to be tough, but the boys are just amused. Cracks me up every time, but I try to hide my face so Izzy doesn't see me. I don't want to hurt her feelings.ReplyDelete
Oooo, Waffles, you are living on the edge again pal. Better take it easy with Katie, she not look happy, and when a girl isn't happy, there is trouble ahead! Watch your moves pal!ReplyDelete
Loving the paw action of Waffles! And the ears! And the first one where Katie's scrunching down! MOL!!!!ReplyDelete

Oh, Waffles ... Waffles, Waffles, Waffles ... you should fear the smaller adversary that's so much smarter than you. She'll win in the end ... you just wait.ReplyDelete
