WAFFLES: Us men have to stick together.
You know, to do man stuff like online shopping for, well... man stuff.
KATIE: Yeah well don't blow your allowance all one website, Waffles.
WAFFLES: Allowance? You get an allowance, Boss?
KATIE: What do you think, Gloman? Should I tell him I get an allowance or not?
WAFFLES: Gloman? Does the Boss really get an allowance? Because I could really use an allowance too. I could– Wait. What's an allowance?
KATIE: What's that? The less he knows the better?
WAFFLES: What about my nose?
Father's Day (and Everyday) at the Townhouse
Yesterday we all hung out with our favorite Cat Daddy. Ok, he's our only Cat Daddy but he's pretty awesome. There was plenty of Father's Day nap time, lap time and even a few games of catch-the-red-dot and fetch.
Katie and Waffles each have their favorite daily routines with Gloman. Like clockwork, Katie shares her morning love with him upstairs in the big walk in closet while Waffles waits un-patiently outside the door wondering what on earth could be going on inside.
In the evenings, Waffles waits (again un-patiently) for Gloman to finish his dinner so he can curl up on his lap until it's time for bed.
There's plenty of love in-between too. One of Glogirly's favorite things is to catch Gloman having conversations with them. Katie is always quick to answer with her delicate, sweet mews. When Gloman talks to her, she comes trotting over to him, ears perked with her happy, bright eyes.
When it comes to man-to-mancat convos, Waffles responds with purpose. Big open mouth meows and rattly mews like he's got something really important to say.
Glogirly is convinced Katie and Waffles understand every word he says. Now if she could just understand them.
Happy Cat Daddy's Day
For all of you lucky cats with Cat Daddies in your life, we hope you enjoyed a wonderful Father's Day. And to all those Cat Daddies out there - thank you so much for sharing your hearts and homes with your furry family members.

ReplyDeleteCat Daddies (and Mummies) are so important.
ReplyDeleteWithout mine i would probably have been found and eaten by the fox that took my mother but my cat daddy found me late at night, watched to make sure i was alone, picked me up, saved me and then nurtured me every two hours for weeks.
