Monday Phobia


WAFFLES:  Where'd you get the cool blue pod, Boss?

KATIE:  None of your beeswax, Waffles.


WAFFLES:  But I thought you didn't like pods and boxes and stuff, on account of your closet phobia. 

KATIE:  That's claustrophobia, Waffles. 

WAFFLES:  And you don't like closets either. 


KATIE:  Closets are fine, Waffles. I just don't like getting locked inside them with you. 

WAFFLES:  What about bathrooms? Did you like it when I locked us in Glogirly's bathroom yesterday morning? Or do you have bathroom phobia too?

KATIE:  More like WAFFLES phobia.


WAFFLES:  Is that even a real thing?


KATIE:   More real than you'll ever know, Waffles.


Nose to Nose Blog Award Nominations Deadline Extended to Tuesday, April 12
If you visited us on Friday, you probably saw our posting about the upcoming BlogPaws Nose to Nose Awards and nominations. We're crossing our paws that we might receive a nod in the Best Humor and Best Photo categories. The deadline for nominations has been extended and is open through Tuesday, April 12.

Anyone can nominate as many of their favorite blogs as they'd like in as many of the 12 categories they'd like. It's pretty simple, just a brief form. We've got all the details and how-to's HERE.

 Please do not feel obligated, though. We understand how busy life can get and we want you to have fun when you come here to visit us. But if you'd like to show some nomination love to your favorite bloggers, whether that's us or some other blogs, we know it would be appreciated with all our kitty hearts.


About that pod...
Our pals at Tidy Cats surprised us with a cool Kivikis Cat Cave! It's hand felted from 100% sheep wool. Ours is sky blue, but there are a variety of other colors available on Amazon. It's very soft, thick and cushiony. And for now, it's all Katie's. Emphasis on "for now."

    The head peep meant to talk about the wool cat pods in her Global Pet Expo wrap up post. One of the things she noticed was how those were available from just one vendor last year and were everywhere you looked this year. Guess when the humans see something that cats love, they all rush to make them. We may have to have a word with the head peep about that. Pierre would love that as much as Katie!

    We think that bed is so kewl...but Mom says we can't get anything new right now 'cause of the green papers she and Dad are using to take care of Fiona. So, even though it is only April, we're putting it on our Christmas list. Most of us like closets, but we've never been stuck in one with Waffles.
