WAFFLES: Hey Boss! Did you hear? It's going to SNOW today!
KATIE: Since when do you pay attention to what the meteorologist has to say?
WAFFLES: MEATeoroligist???
WAFFLES: Cooooool!
KATIE: We're bearing down for our first winter storm of the year here in Minnesota. The local meteorologist often gets it wrong though. Still, I'm not sure how to tell Waffles that we've never had a documented chicken storm. Not even a winter chicken advisory.
Has all of last year's snow even melted yet? ;)
ReplyDeleteWell, all those weather-guessers are DUMB CLUCKS in our opinion!
ReplyDeletecrappity, Mommy thought of another one...watch out for FOWL weather!!!
ReplyDeletebwahahahaha!!!
I'm sure Waffles would love to be chickenlegged in
ReplyDeleteOkay, if I had to ride through chicken I could do that. I'm a little worried about snow though...
ReplyDeleteOMC, say it ain't so. We were on the hammock today with amber leaves drifting by. Sigh, summer is so over.
ReplyDeleteLooks like winter is coming early this year. Monday is our last day for fun in the sun. Booooo.
ReplyDeletePoor Waffles - he's in for a big disappointment.
ReplyDeleteWish we could get a chikken storm down here.
ReplyDeleteI needed a giggle and the chicken storm did it perfectly!
ReplyDeleteHarvey
Never stop hoping, Waffles! It's rained frogs and fishes before, so maybe it'll snow chikin!
ReplyDeletePlease don't send any left over snow to the UK.
ReplyDeleteLuv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
A chicken storm would be fab!
ReplyDeleteMaybe Waffles will stayed glued to the window looking fur chickie & leave you alone!?!?!?!
ReplyDeleteIf you get winter chicken advisories there, we might have to rethink why we like living in Florida! Waffles, let us know if you see any falling drumsticks, ok?
ReplyDeleteNo chick-hen fell from the sky here, only snows. However some pieces of pork from the bones mom was picking did happen to fall from the island top to my bowl... shhhhh, don't tell dad!
ReplyDeleteHarry
It's supposed to get really cold here later this week. Not looking forward to that. Stay warm, you two :)
ReplyDeleteHoping you guys don't get snowed in!
ReplyDeletePlease all stay warm and safe. Glogirly and Gloman, try not to DRIVE in that snowy stuff!
ReplyDeleteWow! Snow already! Hope you guys stay warm!
ReplyDeleteA whine from me: "It's too early for snow!!!"
ReplyDeleteHey, have you already done "All in the Family" for your TV series? Waffles is sounding like a real Meathead...
xxoo
Maggie
why in the bleep do we live in Minnesota?
ReplyDeleteLove the snow, we only had a light flurry here. It didn't even stick. Had to chuckle though at the thought of chicken legs in the yard instead of snow. What a sight that would have been.
ReplyDeleteWouldn't that be meowvolous if it would rain chicken legs! We hate the cold, white stuff. The weather guesser said wintery mix for later this week. We hope that's wrong! Stay warm you two. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
ReplyDeleteHi! ((waves from not far away))
ReplyDeleteYou get to watch the snow fall up close!
Waffle, you do know it's not a good idea to go out exploring for drumsticks! Let them come directly to you.
There, Katie, he'll be staring at the ceiling now and ignoring you! MOL
QUINN
Snowing chicken drumsticks???..Darn..no snow for Pennsylvania..and I was going to set some buckets outside to catch dinner..
ReplyDeleteWhoa that is a snow storm! Stay warm guys!
ReplyDeleteSo where's the meat? They lie
ReplyDeleteSnorts,
Lily & Edward
We would love to see a chicken storm once in our life ! Purrs
ReplyDeleteWaffles, they say if you wish for something hard enough, it will happen.
ReplyDeleteYIKES - I know you are getting LOTS of snow there cuz M has been watching that meterologist guy on the TV. Hopefully we're only going to get maybe 1-3 inches. M says It's too early!!!
ReplyDeleteThere are winter chickens. Those beans who won't go out in the snow. So a winter chicken advisory is applicable!
ReplyDeleteSorry about the snow forecast. It is just high winds and freezing here.
ReplyDeleteMarty
Please keep the snow over there and don’t send it East. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteWe we lucky it miissed us. I live in the lower part of WI. Hope you didn't get too much.
