Hi everyone, Katie here.
I can't believe that Glogirly left me. Left me with that orange teenager. Vacation she says. She claims she's going to miss me way more than I'm going to miss her. And that's supposed to make me feel better?
She told me not to worry. That the Cat Sitter would come over to serve me my dinner.
What she didn't tell me is that the Cat Sitter is bringing a suitcase. And a TOOTHBRUSH.

Mommy said she's volunteer to move in any time you need a cat sitter. Don't take her up on it. Who would take care of me???

ReplyDeletePoor Katie! Maybe it won't be that bad. I'm sure the Cat Sitter can handle opening your food and making sure Waffles Too doesn't steal your food or harass you too much. She should be useful for that. Try not to hate her too much. It's not her fault Glogirly was cruel enough to leave you for vacation (why would anyone want to spend time away from you? Totally cannot understand that).
ReplyDeleteMy pet sitter sleeps over - and we ALL sleep on the bed with her! Even Boodie. And she does not thrash around as much as my human. Katie, you should milk this!

Miss Katie, we see this as a time for the enjoyment of manipulation, obfuscation (we don't know what that means, but it's a fun word), mass destruction, and ultimately the pointing of a paw, while aghast at the havoc that "the orange maniac" has caused. Glogirly may not believe it if she were home, but perhaps the Cat Sitter is more... shall we say...naive? This could be fun!

OMC! The sitter is gonna be living there? Well, Katie, the only thing to do is work this situation to your advantage. Look faint and weak and the sitter will give you more foods and treats.

Poor Katie, I can see your outrage in that picture but I'm sure your Mum will have been very picky about the sitter. So, once you've given the sitter a bit of the cold shoulder treatment, just to put her in her place, you might want to check out what she has to offer in terms of cuddles, treats or games. She might just be ok.

ReplyDeleteThis is getting even scarier. Perhaps the humans are a little insecure about finding Waffles still at home when they return. We suspect that given half the chance Katie, that you would sell or even give Waffles away. Find yourself a safe haven so you can nap. The time will fly by until they are home again.
