Hi everyone, Katie here.
Glogirly and I had an opportunity to do some very fun design work over the past couple of months. We've added lots of new things onto our GLOGIRLY DESIGN page. One of our MOST fun projects was for a couple of *gasp* DOGS! Their blog is called Pug Paradise. Polly and Peggy and the pugs and Grace is their trusty human. They were looking for something fun and whimsical and loved our ideas so much that they had us do a complete makeover for them!
I know what you're thinking...they're DOGS! But they're pretty smart dogs. After all, they hired a cat to do their creative work. I had a chance to do a little Q&A with them after we finished up their blog, Facebook & Twitter projects.
KATIE: Hi Grace, Polly & Peggy...Please tell us a little something about Pug-Paradise!
GRACE: Hi, Katie. Polly and Peggy are the two stars of Pug Paradise, and the inspiration behind our blog. We hope that Pug Paradise will be a place for everyone to come for a dose of puggy-goodness. If paradise is a state of happiness, then pugs are certainly a great symbol for it – as you won't find a happier pooch than a pug. There's never a dull moment when you have a curly tail!

KATIE: What made you decide it was time for a blog makeover?
GRACE: We decided that we needed a makeover so that our blog truly reflected our content. There are so many blogs on the Internet on all sorts of topics, so we wanted to stand out in the crowd by taking it up a level. We strive to provide an enjoyable outlet for readers and for us that required an appearance that says exactly what we're about. Nothing about our old appearance was memorable or exciting so a makeover was really what we wanted to enhance the overall vibe to our blog – and GLOGIRLY DESIGN succeeded!

KATIE: Awww, thanks Grace. How did you find Katie & Glogirly? (now we meant how did they 'find' as in locate us...but Grace and her puggies are Brits so they had a different take on our question! hehe!)
GRACE: Helpful! We found Kaite and Glogirly extremely supportive and approachable. Blog makeovers and the technical bits are not our department so we had a lot of questions throughout that Katie and Glogirly always answered to the best of their ability. We never felt like we were left hanging or waiting around, as the project was going on we were constantly hearing from Glogirly on updates, new ideas, advice and so on. This leads us on to say that we also found Glogirly FAST. The whole project was completed in less than a week! So naturally praise must be handed to them for their amazing work!

GRACE: We had a long think about this question – and honestly – we can't even pick as we LOVE it all so much! We think that probably, linking back to Q2 we are just satisfied that we've got an image that reflects us now. Polly and Peggy's favourite thing about our new look is that they have now become cartoon characters. ; )
KATIE: I live with a whole townhouse of cartoon characters...I'm not sure that's always such a good thing!
Another pretty makeover! Maybe, one day, we can do that.
