We're going for it again! With all the excitement surrounding the launch of Mad Kitty Cocktail, we almost forgot about the latest Design the Next Can Contest sponsored by mikes HARDER. They're launching a new Jamaican Lemonade flavor next year. So you know what THAT means, don't you?

Voting is already open on the Zooppa contest site and I don't think any of those nay-sayers from the last contest have found us yet! Part of the success of Mad Kitty Cocktail was all of the social buzz you helped us generate through comments and votes on the contest site. We'd be so very grateful if you'd pop by our Rasta Kitty Cocktail page to cast your votes and leave a little comment love. 

HERE'S HOW TO VOTE:

1.   Just click the voting link below and login either with Facebook or your email. The site you're going to is called ZOOPPA.

2.  Once you're logged in, click the back button twice to return to our Rasta Kitty Cocktail page. (if you've been to the site before, it will probably remember you and you won't have to go back.)

3.  There's a voting "slider" on the right hand side of the Rasta Kitty Cocktail page. Slide it ALL the way over to cast 5 votes. That's the maximum number of votes. You can only do this once.

4.  Then just click the VOTE button. That's it!

The Mad Kitty can is the second of four limited edition can designs. All four designs are the new Apple Firebomb flavor from mike's HARDER. The first can design to hit stores carrying this flavor is the apple design. As soon as that sells down, the next can to make it's way onto the shelves will be Waffles.

In many cases, you may not see Mad Kitty Cocktail until mid December or later.

• To find which stores near you will be carrying this, just go to the mike's HARDER website HERE. Click on the button to indicate you are over 21.
• You'll immediately see Waffles' Mad Kitty Cocktail can. Click on the large FIND IT button.
• Enter your zip code.
• Click the drop down menu to select the Apple Firebomb flavor.
• Click SEARCH.

Waffles Wednesday: The Life of the Mad Kitty Cocktail Party

Hi everybuddy, Waffles here.

It's only been a few days since my Mad Kitty Cocktail Party at the MeowWorld Conference, but EVERYONE is still talking about it! 

It was an exclusive, invitation-only party and a chance for the who's who of pet blogging and social media to taste the newest flavor from mike's HARDER and meet up with the REAL Mad Kitty. That's me.

The Invite

As soon as I arrived at the conference I started handing out coasters to all of my friends. I even gave them to a few DOGS! Glogirly wrote my room number on the back so everyone would know where to go.

The Pawparazzi
Cameras were clicking and flashes were flashing... the press couldn't get enough of the REAL Mad Kitty. Many showered me with all sorts of delectable treats and toys. They were pretty much star struck ...and in awe of my 15" tail.

The Uninvited Guest
Somebody arrived with a *plus one.* Excuse me, NO kittens allowed. Seriously, someone should have carded this kid at the door.




Mad Kitty Selfies!

EVERYONE posed with a can of my signature cocktail. And this is only about half of them! The rest were too busy asking for my pawtograph.

The party lasted for almost 2 hours.  I worked the crowd, winding my way through peoples' legs and chatting it up on top of my bed. Glogirly said she was super proud of me and that I was a purrfect host.

Our friends at mike's HARDER supplied all the Mad Kitty Cocktail we could drink. ...but they forgot to send a clean up crew.

Waffles' Big Adventure, Day 4: Social Media Kitty Blitz

There's been so much excitement in the last 24 hours I don't know where to start! ...and did you know it's National CAT Day??? How PURR-fect is that?!


The Celeb Cat Selfie
The cat selfie photo and behind-the-scenes video we worked on in Chicago a few weeks ago launched yesterday on all the social media sites! There's Venus on the left, then ME ...I'm the orange, handsome one... next, Princess Monster Truck, Lil Bub is front and center and then Klaus & Oskar are on the right. The project was sponsored by our friends at mike's HARDER as a fun way of launching my Mad Kitty Cocktail can.

 Mashable ME

Word got out about the cat selfie project and my Mad Kitty Cocktail can... and the people at Mashable wanted to meet me. They invited me to star in a special photo shoot at their NY office and studio. Just yesterday they published 13 Lessons in Brunch Etiquette from Waffles the Cat. I was kind of hoping for some rotisserie chicken at this brunch thing... I mean, isn't THAT that what this etiquette stuff is all about??? But they made up for it with some special treats hidden behind the pastries and juice.

Next Up: Atlanta

Glogirly and I had to nap fast yesterday. By the time most of you will be reading this, we'll already be flying to Atlanta to attend the BarkWorld - MeowWorld Pet Blogging and Social Media Conference. There'll be lots of that meeting & greeting stuff... AND I've got some cool Waffles souvenirs to pass out to my friends.

If all that's not exciting enough, Glogirly and I are throwing a Mad Kitty Happy Hour Party in our hotel room during the conference! Our friends at mike's HARDER are sending us our own supply of my famous cocktail and we'll be taking selfies of everyone with their Mad Kitty cans ...and maybe even a few with the *real* mad kitty! Waffles' Big Adventure, Day 3: Meet & Greet or Meat & Greet?

Hi everybuddy, Waffles here.

When Glogirly said we were going to some Meat & Greets today, I thought I'd be meeting some chicken. Maybe roast beef. I guess this was a different kind of meet.

We arrived at a big, tall building as high as the sky and were brought into a private conference room with a table that looked like a freeway. 

I was thinking about doing zoomies down the middle of the table before anyone arrived. 

The awards on the shelves could have used some rearranging too.

This is where we met up with the people from mike's HARDER and the PR and media company they work with on cool projects like Mad Kitty Cocktail. 

Meeting & Greeting

This is my new friend, Miles. He's with mike's HARDER and came with us on our meet-and-greets at People Pets and Mashable. He helped carry my stuff and introduced me to everyone. I think he was pretty impressed. 

He passed the test, so I was cool with him being my assistant for the day.

People Pets

People Pets posted an iPhone pic of me on Instagram HERE. We brought a big cooler full of Mad Kitty Cocktail for them to sample. But of course, they were much more interested in the REAL Mad Kitty.

Next we headed over to meet the team at Mashable. They had a photo and video shoot planned for me and I got to act in a scene with two people actors. Glogirly was busy coaching me and making sure all my furs were in place, so she had to leave her camera in it's bag. But the Mashable photographers took LOTS of cool photos. And as soon as they publish them, I'll be sure to let you know. We may even do a behind-the-scenes post about it right here.

Welcome Home Waffles
At the end of the day, my new friends at the 70 Park Avenue Hotel welcomed me home.

...and this social media kitty got to catch up on some very big social media Zzzzz's.

Waffles' Big Adventure Day 2: On the Avenue... Park Avenue ♬♩

Hi everybuddy, Waffles here!

Yesterday Glogirly and I flew to New York City. On a PLANE!  And would you believe this kitty got to fly first class? Well, the first class celebricat treatment didn't stop there, either!

After we picked up my suitcase and made sure my toys were all safe, we hopped in a cab and headed for the hotel.  We rode through a huge tunnel underneath the Hudson River. And we didn't even get wet! When we arrived at our hotel, the 70 Park Avenue Hotel in Manhattan, they were expecting us! They even knew my NAME!!! 

When we opened the door to our fancy suite, I'm pretty sure Glogirly was gasping and giggling all at the same time. There was a framed photo of ME on the desk! It read, "Welcome Waffles!."  There were two bottles of wine and an envelope with our pictures on it! It was addressed to Ms. Glovatsky (that's Glogirly) and me.

Love Letters

We had to open it up right away. Just look at the cool notes that everyone at the hotel wrote to us! We were feeling REALLY special! I asked Glogirly if this is how it is at all the hotels and she said no... "This is a VERY special hotel. "

Mirrors, Mirrors on the Wall, Who's the Handsomest Cat of All?

Before I could even get my harness off,  I started checking out the suite. There are mirrors EVERYWHERE! I can't decide where I look the most handsome though. 

Do I look handsome in the living room?

How about the night stand? Handsome?

Ok, this chair REALLY makes me look handsome, right?

Holy Litterbox, Batman!

The nice staff at the hotel thought of EVERYTHING. They even gave me my very own litter box! I don't have to share it with anyone. Glogirly has her own bathroom to use.

Today's Meet & Greets

We're super excited for what's next! Today we'll be meeting up with the people from mike's HARDER and Mashable. I even brought them presents. I bet there's going to be some Mad Kitty Cocktail to pass around too! 

The staff at the hotel wants to get their picture taken with me. They have a social media manager here and she's really excited to share me on their Facebook Page and Twitter! And we're excited to be able to share them with you! Glogirly says this is the most pet AND people friendly hotel she's ever stayed in. They've made us feel SO special.

We can't wait to tell you about everything we see and do today!

Day 1: Is NYC Ready for Waffles???

Hi everybuddy, Waffles here.

You'll never believe where I'm going today!  No, not the vet. I was there yesterday... to get my official Certificate of Health so I can be cleared to fly to the NEW YOUR CITY!

Huh? It's not your city? It's York's city? I don't know who York is, but I guess his city is REALLY BIG! Glogirly and I are flying in to meet up with the people from mike's HARDER and Mashable. Not the mashable potatoes but Mashable, the social media news outlet. I don't know what they've got planned yet, but they're super excited to meet me!

You are Cleared for Takeoff

I bet you didn't know that every time I go on a big trip like this I have to be cleared by my vet to fly. She has to sign a paper telling everyone I'm healthy, have had all my shots and stuff and that I'm smart and handsome. Ok, the smart and handsome stuff really isn't required for flying, but the ladies really like it.

I get my heartbeat checked.

I get my teeth checked.

They weigh me and feel me all over. It kind of tickles. It's sort of like going to the vet for your yearly check up, but without all the icky stuff like thermometers and needles.

When they were all done, I hopped back into my Sleepypod and told Glogirly it was time to leave. We've got PACKING to do!!!

By the time most of you read this, we'll already be at the airport and on our way to the big city. I sure hope Glogirly remembered to pack my wand toy. And the red dot family...I don't think they've ever been to New York before!

Ok, I'm ready!!! ...do you think New York is ready for me???
