It's Sunday. And while the rest of the blogosphere cats are taking it easy, I'm hard at work. Sunday is primo-study time for me, what with Waffles being preoccupied with a blowing leaf and Glogirly's pillow.
Do you realize we're coming up on the one year anniversary of the Orange Crush Invasion? That's right, Thanksgiving weekend. Oh the irony.
Since Waffles is here to stay, I figure if I can't beat him, I may as well join him.
Or is it, if I can't join him, I may as well beat him?
Enter to win a Peach Industries Kitty Lounger for your favorite 501(c)(3) shelter and a cool organic t-shirt for yourself! Although the shelter must be located in the US, the drawing is open to readers worldwide and the t-shirt can ship worldwide too! Deadline to enter is Wednesday, November 20 @ 11:59 EST.
The heck with beat, how about EAT??

You are really waffling over that quote there Katie...better make up your mind.
ReplyDeleteI believe I wrote that... about Ichiro...
ReplyDeleteKatie, I think it's the latter. At least, that seems to be the way it works around here.
ReplyDeleteWe have the perfect antidote at our blog today named Henri le Chat Noir.

Wow, a whole year of terror! You poor dear! Please share the wisdom you glean from your studies. We agree with beating ...
ReplyDeleteMagic says you could try growling like a Rottweiler and doing the death stare but she does admit it only has limited effect on gingery ones....!
ReplyDeleteKatie, you tried it Waffles' way for the first year...we think now it's time to try it your way. ;)
ReplyDeleteSo it's official you are allowing him to stay.
ReplyDeleteA year? It can't possibly be! That means before we know it the little orange monster will be a year old.
ReplyDeleteWhere can I get one of those books! You know, I have an orange brother, too.
ReplyDeletePurrs,
Nissy
Almost a whole year? Pawsome!
ReplyDeleteHard to believe that Waffles came on Turkey weekend!
ReplyDeleteDoesn't matter how much studying you do Katie, I don't think it will change anything.
ReplyDeleteTime just flies when someone's having fun. I wish it was you, Katie! I think you are on the right track, though.

ReplyDeleteThe Florida Furkids
Does this mean you're giving up and letting Waffles stick around, Katie? We never thought you would cave!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your kind comment on our blog about our having to give Beau back to his foster home. Hearing from so many in the blogosphere has meant a lot as we work through the readjustment in our family.
Oh, beat him. Most definitely beat him. You should be reading How to Rid Yourself of Unwanted Orange Fur or 50 Shades of Orange. MOL!
ReplyDeleteWow you survived an entire year!! Well done you - do you get any time off for good behaviour?
ReplyDeleteOMC !
ReplyDeleteHave you put up with Waffles for almost a whole year ??!!
