Waffles Too is just about the perfect size. Just look at him and Black Cat sitting over there on my tower. I'd say the circumference of their necks is just about equal, don't you think? How conVEENient. Because I can take Black Cat DOWN. I can take Black Cat down to Chinatown. 

Watch your step orange boy. This here is MY town.

I can only hope that one of these days Waffles Too squeezes under the ottoman only to find that he can't get out.

Don't worry, I'm sure there's a couple kernels of popcorn under there so he won't go hungry. Maybe an abandoned toy or two. I promise to check under there if I don't see him for a couple of weeks or so. Three weeks, tops.

Wordless Wednesday Foto Frenzy Style

Hi everyone, Katie here.

We're having a blast playing Foto Frenzy with you. Even the dogs are playing!  Benny & Lily of Two French Bulldogs picked #41, but they didn't know why. Well WE know why!  #41 is the photo we used on our very first blog header! That's me and Glogirly up there during my first weekend in the townhouse. I'm not sure what the big black flashy box is...but the guy holding it seems to be alright.

Our friend Simba, from Simba's Antics picked #246. I was still only a few months old here and had already learned how to play fetch with my orange fish. This fish is the same fish (my salmon) that I've used in all my movies.

And finally, for our new friend Doronette, who has a beautiful blog called Chez Doronette, is dying to see lucky #13. This photo was taken on my first night in the townhouse. I was checking out my new forever home from the top of the staircase. ...a place I still like to see the world from.

Yesterday, Glogirly left for BlogPaws. Salt Lake City or bust. Starting tomorrow, I'll be providing daily BlogPaws updates right here on my blog. The DOGS better watch out. This cat is ready to DISH.

UPDATE - Glogirly made it safe and sound to Rapid City, South Dakota. No speeding tickets, no empty gas tanks.  A few bugs gave their lives to the windshield. RIP. Flat Katie had some issues in the car though. Glogirly thought it would be cool to have Flat Katie look out the window...just to throw off the other cars.  Well it wasn't cool at all. Apparently the extreme heat melted Flat Katie into a potato chip looking thing. FORTUNATELY Glogirly was not far from home so she came back and did a quick repair job to Flat Katie.  Only an hour or so was lost. The two are resting comfortably at the Hilton Garden Inn.

Don't worry, I'm not a permanent resident here yet. Just trying on the outfit for size.  Taking measurements for my prison cat tree and litter box.  I'm still maintaining my innocence and am hopeful the truth surrounding the death of Mabel Mouse will be revealed and those responsible will be brought to justice within the next 24-48 hours.

A Really Wordless Wednesday

Hi everyone, Katie here.

I have no words this Wednesday.  At least no words that seem right.  Our dear friend Fin, from Housecat Confidential has left this world. Our hearts are heavy...and our thoughts are with his sweet mom Meg.

Meg and Fin are like part of our family. We met them through their blog four years ago when we were just starting out.  Meg and Fin took us under their wings. As newbie bloggers, we had no idea what we were doing. They introduced us to the Cat Blogosphere, provided technical and moral support...they became our friends.

This hits especially hard and reminds us that the most beautiful things, people, experiences are temporary and fragile.  But their memory is strong, resilient and everlasting.

We love you Fin.  

We will always remember you.
