GLOGIRLY Black Friday Winners & Their Wares

Last week when we announced the two lucky winners of our Black Friday Giveaway,  many of you were curious to see how their prizes turned out. We aim to please.

The winners had their choice of a number of GLOGIRLY DESIGN prizes – Everything from blog headers to social media buttons to Facebook profiles and custom holiday cards.

Well the winners spoke and we got busy!




Winner #1
Our cat fellow blogger and friend Flynn, from Eric & Flynn's Adventures, chose a custom holiday greeting that he'd be able to use on his blog and email to special friends. Flynn sent us a few handsome photos of himself to choose from and had just a few special requests:
●  Traditional colours (he's so international!)
●  'Seasons Greetings' & 'Flynn'
●  A tree & gift package

The rest was up to us! We love the photos that Flynn posts of his outdoor adventures. We wanted that kind of style reflected in his card.

We gave Flynn two versions. One with a paper background and one with a transparent background.

Winner #2
Our next winner is Vicat. She's one of our special cat-loving Facebook friends. Glogirly says she has a sense of humor that's almost as dry as mine. Well I suppose that's better than wet.

Vicat also chose a custom holiday greeting. And since she's a diehard GLOGIRLY fan, she wanted her card to feature yours truly. Oh, and the orange menace. I'll try not to hold that last part against her.

And I'll try not to hold the fact that I'm wearing a box top on my head against Glogirly. But it was worth it. You should hear Waffles meow with that nose on him.

AmazeCats Next Top Cat ???

Hi everyone, Katie here.

We 'd never heard about the AmazeCats until a few months ago when Cat Chat was having an AmazeCats Famous Cats of the Internet Playing Cards giveaway.  Truth be told, I was a little miffed to learn that I wasn't featured on any of the playing cards. Sure, there were the usual suspects like Maru, Lil Bub, Oskar the Blind Cat...even some Waffles impostor. But there was a certain tuxie beauty obviously missing.

Recently AmazeCats put out a nominations call for the AmazeCats Next Top Cat. 32 cats of the internet will be named finalists...and I'm one of them! I have no idea who nominated me, but the AmazeCats people contacted Glogirly to share the big news, get my photo and bio...they even wanted one of my videos!

You can watch the AmazeCats promo video below to get a flavor of what it's all about. They've got a cool website and a Facebook Page too. Voting is going to start sometime this week. ...oh, stop your groaning already. We'll try not to beg like dogs.




I would LOVE to be pictured on the next deck of AmazeCats playing cards!!! I'm certain EVERYONE would want to be dealt a Katie card. If I was the kitty-queen of hearts, I'd bring new meaning to the phrase *lady luck.*  We'll keep you posted!

We are terribly sad to learn of our dear friend Eric from Our Life By Eric & Flynn. He has gone to the bridge unexpectedly after a brief illness. His family and friends are devastated and our hearts go out to them. Please be sure to pay them a visit and leave them some comforting thoughts and purrs.

Waffles Wednesday

Um, hi everybuddy, Waffles Too here.

Um, so Katie...I mean the Boss, says I can take over Wensdays on a trail basis.

She tole me it's sposed to be Wordless Wensday and that I should keep it that way.

She was kinda bossy about it. Prolly cuz her name is Boss.

So until I can figure out what Wordless means, I'll just tell you a little bit about me.

1.  My favorite food is Katie's food.
2.  My favorite toys are Katie's toys.
3.  My favorite blanket is Katie's blanket.
4.  My favorite litter box is Katie's litter box.
5.  My favorite water is Katie's water. (but I also like playing in the toil..I mean bathtub)

I like the toilet too, but Glogirly always calls me NO when I try to jump in.  NO must be like a nickname or something.

Ok that's it.

Oh WAIT! I'm in my very first contest ever! It's a cute cats contest over at Eric & Flynn's Adventures. The Boss let me enter instead of her. There's lots of cute cats too choose from, but you can only vote for one US cat and one UK cat.
