AmazeCats Next Top Cat ???

Hi everyone, Katie here.

We 'd never heard about the AmazeCats until a few months ago when Cat Chat was having an AmazeCats Famous Cats of the Internet Playing Cards giveaway.  Truth be told, I was a little miffed to learn that I wasn't featured on any of the playing cards. Sure, there were the usual suspects like Maru, Lil Bub, Oskar the Blind Cat...even some Waffles impostor. But there was a certain tuxie beauty obviously missing.

Recently AmazeCats put out a nominations call for the AmazeCats Next Top Cat. 32 cats of the internet will be named finalists...and I'm one of them! I have no idea who nominated me, but the AmazeCats people contacted Glogirly to share the big news, get my photo and bio...they even wanted one of my videos!

You can watch the AmazeCats promo video below to get a flavor of what it's all about. They've got a cool website and a Facebook Page too. Voting is going to start sometime this week. ...oh, stop your groaning already. We'll try not to beg like dogs.

We are terribly sad to learn of our dear friend Eric from Our Life By Eric & Flynn. He has gone to the bridge unexpectedly after a brief illness. His family and friends are devastated and our hearts go out to them. Please be sure to pay them a visit and leave them some comforting thoughts and purrs.

Waffles Wednesday: The Last Cat Laughs

Um, hi everybuddy. Waffles Too here.

The Boss recently won a giveaway from our pals Caren & Cody at Cat Chat. She got this cool book called Cat Laughs by cat cartoonist, Gary Patterson. Even tho he doesn't have thumbs, he managed to draw a whole book. Can you believe it?

Huh? Oh. I guess he DOES have thumbs. Maybe he'll tell me where he got them.

So I've been using his book as a study guide. I'm learning a lot. Glogirly says it's important to laugh. So I've been practicing and practicing with the book. Gotta be ready to to laugh at a moment's notice.

Look-y here. I don't even need the book to laugh at the Boss inside her new PTU.  Guess I have the last cat laugh huh?

KATIE:  Nice, Waffles Too. Very nice. Just because it's a party every time you go to the Vet, doesn't mean you have to rub it in my face.  My TRUE friends have asked WHY I was going to the Vet and if I'm ok. Well, I went to the Vet...and there's nothing OK about that. But I'm fine. I'll tell you all about how fine I am tomorrow.

Behind-The-Scenes With Juror # 11

Hi everyone, Katie here.

Welcome back to another exclusive behind-the-scenes Q & A with the cast of "Katie Is... ACCUSED."  Cody from Cat Chat, a.k.a. Juror #11, joins us today to share his own impressions of the video.



KATIE:  Welcome Cody. First let me say how sorry I am that your hometown Tigers messed up so badly. You look like you can't believe what just happened.

CODY:  Swept away like kitty litter, I tell you.

KATIE:  So Cody, onto bigger and brighter things. What was your favorite part of "Katie Is... ACCUSED?"

CODY:  Seeing my face...of course.

KATIE:  How about Dakota the dog?  What's he saying about the video?

CODY:  Dakota says why you would choose a dog OTHER than him as Judge is BEYOND him!




KATIE:  Apparently the District Attorney felt Dakota would have to recuse himself from the bench based on the fact that you'd already been cast in the role of Juror #11.  Just try not to go too crazy with all the autographs and stuff in front of him. Don't make him fetch your Sharpies.

Ok, the answer we've all been waiting for:  Guilty or innocent?

CODY:  Innocent...but of course!
